Simon's POV

I quickly wash my face and clean my teeth before walking back into my bedroom. I walk over to my closet and pick out my clothes for the day; a pair of black Adidas joggers, a plain white t-shirt, a black Adidas hoodie and some black Adidas trainers. I then walk back into the bathroom to get changed, making sure to throw my dirty clothes into the wash basket.

I walk back into the bedroom to see Jessica, sat on my bed, on her phone, with her headphones in. She glances up from her phone and looks straight at me. "You're finally ready." She says as she takes her headphones off. "Indeed." I smile as I sit next to her. "Will Vik and JJ be ready yet?" She asks. I shrug, "I don't know. I don't always leave with them." I say, honestly. "Oh." She says.

I look over her shoulder, at her phone, for the time; "It's only 6:50AM?" I question, as I thought it was later; like around 7:20AM or something. "I know..." She sighs as she lies down. I look down at her as she just stares up at the ceiling with a blank expression on her face. "What you thinking?" I ask as I lie down next to her. "Nothing, really." She says. "Surely you're thinking of something." I say, unconvinced. "Nope." She says, popping the 'p'. "Really?" I question. "Really." She repeats, like a parrot. "How boring." I sigh as I sit back up. "Indeed." She says as she looks up at me.

"We should leave soon, so you can get your school things that you need." I state as I stand up. "Urgh. I honestly can't be bothered with today." Jessica groans as she turns over and lies on her stomach. "Why? What's wrong?" I ask as I sit back down next to her. She turns around and rests her head on my lap; "I don't know. I just feel... Gross I guess." She says as she looks up at me. "You'll be fine, trust me." I say as I play with her hair. "You sound just like my mother." She chuckles. "In what way?" I ask, raising an eyebrow at her. "She always says things like that, if I tell her I feel shit." She says. "Well, you will babe." I say before planting a kiss on her forehead.

"Fine..." She sighs...
