Le Time Skip; End of The Day

Jessica's POV

"Do you have to stay behind still?" Layla asks as we walk out of lesson. I nod, "This is the last time though." I smile at her. She smiles back widely, "Good!" I laugh, "Well, see you tomorrow." I say. "See you tomorrow." She smiles. We quickly hug before parting ways. I sigh as I make my way towards Simon's office, as that's where he'll most likely be.

-

I knock on his office door. No answer. "Hmm, strange." I mutter quietly. "Looking for me?" The familiar voice of Simon says behind me. I smile as I turn around, "What gave that away?" I ask. He chuckles, "Just a wild guess." "Well, you guessed right." I giggle.

I move out the way so he can unlock his office door, allowing us to go inside. I close the door behind us, as I'm the last one to enter before sitting in front of his desk, opposite him.

"Are you actually going to do some work, or..." Simon trails off. I nod, "Mhm." I hum. "Take it you need help." He smiles at me as I swiftly grab my work out. I nod, "Yes I do." I grab a pen from his desk as he comes and sits next to me. "What do you need help with?" He asks. I point to a question Mr. Payne told us to do. Simon sighs, "You really can't do science, can you." He says. "Well, I've been saying that for ages, Si." I say. He sighs again, "Have you told Mr. Payne?" He asks. I nod, "Several times, yes." I say. "I'll talk to him because, you're shit basically." He says, chuckling the last part. I laugh, "I know."

Simon's POV

"So, put your work away." I smile at her. She sighs as she quickly puts her work back in her bag. She puts the pen back where she found it on my desk.

I pull her into a hug, "Why can't you just stay behind all the time?" I ask like I'm a little kid. She chuckles, "Because I don't need to anymore Si." She says as she wraps her arms around my neck. I huff, "But I want you to." "But I don't need to." She says, again. I look at her and pout like a little kid, making her chuckle slightly. "We'll still see each other Si." She smiles at me. I nod, "But I won't be able to do this." I say before quickly pressing our lips together. She sighs, "You know where I live." She says quietly, in case someone hears us. "True." I mutter. "But what if your mum is home?" I ask. "I'll just say you're helping me with my work." She smiles. "Okay." I smile back.

-

I pull her onto my lap and nuzzle my head into the crook of her neck, making her giggle. I softly plant a kiss onto her neck, "I love you." I whisper into her neck. I feel her comb her fingers through my hair, "I love you to." She whispers back. I smile into her neck as I plant more kisses there. "Simon..." She mumbles. "Hmm?" I hum. "Not here, baby." She says in a soft voice. I look up at her, "Okay, sorry." I say in a soft voice. She presses our foreheads together, "It's okay."

Without warning, the office door flies open...
