Jessica's POV

People always say; "If you can't sleep, it means someone is thinking or dreaming about you." which I thought was a load of shit, but now, I'm thinking it's true. Why? I don't know. I must be having weird 4AM thoughts.

I sit up in bed and sigh as I still can't sleep. "Fuck sake." I huff as I reach up and pull my light switch, turning on my bedroom light, illuminating everywhere. I allow my eyes to adjust to the sudden change in lighting before climbing out of bed.

As my mum, Faye, isn't home, I happily go downstairs and into the lounge where I flop onto the sofa. I grab the TV remote and turn on the TV. I then flick through the channels until I find something decent to watch. I settle on watching some random kids programme.

Mid way through, I hear a faint buzzing sound coming from upstairs. I groan as I know what it is; my phone. I quickly jog back up to my room and grab my phone. I unlock it to see that I have a text from him - Simon.

From Simon; "Sorry for waking you up, but we should talk."

To Simon; "What is it?"

From Simon; "I can't stop thinking about you..."

To Simon; "Why?"

From Simon; "I'm in love with you. But, it's wrong."

To Simon; "Funny enough, I know."

From Simon; "You're driving me insane."

To Simon; "I'm sure there's someone else out there for you."

From Simon; "I had a wet dream about you, ffs."

My eyes widen as I read what he's just sent me. "Oh my God." I mutter as I sit myself on my bed. "What do I say to that?" I ask myself, not knowing what to put. "Fuck, um..."

To Simon; "Gross... Didn't really wanna know that."

From Simon; "Sorry... But it's true, I did."

"Why?" I ask myself. "Why me?"

Not wanting to talk to him any longer, as I feel as though the conversation is getting weird, I turn my phone off before heading back down to the lounge.

I flop back onto the sofa and continue watching whatever is on TV.

Simon's POV

"She's ignoring me. I know she is." I mutter to myself as I throw my phone onto my bed. I groan as I hide my face in my hands. "I shouldn't have told her that..." I mumble into my hands. "But, she needed to know." I tell myself as I remove my hands from my face.

I swivel on my chair, making me face my desk again. I then continue to mark everyone's work, as I'm still not tired.
