Jessica's POV
After a long 30 minute drive - due to traffic - we finally make it to my place. I look at the drive way to see that my mum is still not home. I sigh as I unbuckle the seat belt. "What's wrong?" Simon asks as he stops the cars ignition. "My mum hasn't been home in over a week." I sigh. "Why?" He asks. "She's always at her new boyfriend's house." I mutter as I get out the car. I watch as Simon also gets out the car.
"You don't have to walk me to my door, you know." I chuckle as we walk towards my door. "Well, I am." He says. We get to my door which I immediately unlock and open. "Thanks for the lift, Si." I smile up at him. "Anytime." He smiles back. "Sure you'll be alright on your own?" He asks. I sigh, "I've managed so far." I say. "I guess." He sighs. "But, I guess you can come in for a little while..." I mutter. "Yeah?" He says, unsure. "Yeah." I nod. He smiles as we both walk inside. "Plus, it allows you time to wait for the traffic to die down a bit." I say as I throw my bag next to the stairs. "True." He shrugs.
I smile as we both walk into the lounge, where I throw myself onto the sofa. "Comfy?" He asks whilst chuckling. "Not really, no." I mutter as I sit up properly, allowing him to also sit down. He makes his way over and sits next to me. We sit for a little while, in silence.
"Done your work?" He asks, breaking the silence. "Mhm." I hum as I look up at him. "Good." He smiles down at me. "Lately, you're always smiling." I point out. "So?" He asks. "It suits you." I say, smiling up at him. "Thanks." He says with a slight chuckle. "Anytime." I giggle.
"So, now what?" He asks. I look at him, confused, "What do you mean?" I ask. "What're we going to do now?" He asks. I shrug, "Fuck knows, mate." "Well, what do you want to do?" He asks. I look into his eyes, "Anything, really." I say. "Oh." He says whilst smirking slightly. I shove him, "No, not that." I say. He laughs, "Only messin'." He says in between laughs. "Better be." I warn, jokingly. "I am." He chuckles. "Good." I smile. "Or was I." He says, smirking again. "Shut up." I chuckle. "Fine." He pouts, like a little kid. "Awe, I'm sorry." I giggle whilst pulling him into a hug. He hugs back, "Better be." He says. "I am." I chuckle.
Despite the fact that he's my teacher, I feel like I can actually tell him anything, like he's my bestfriend or some shit.
I feel him pull me more into the hug. "Simon?" I ask. "Hmm?" He hums. "What're you doing?" I ask. "You're warm and cuddly." He says like a little kid, making my heart melt slightly. "I am?" I chuckle. "Mhm." He hums, again. "Also, not going to lie, but..." I begin. He looks at me, "What?" He asks. "I was going to say you look kinda cute snuggling into me." I say, blushing slightly. "Really?" He asks as he snuggles back into me. "Mhm." I hum as I run my fingers through his hair. "Well, you always look cute, Jess." He mumbles. "Thanks?" I say with a small chuckle. "Anytime." He says, making me smile.
