Time Skip, Cause I Can.

Jessica's POV

"Get some rest, Jess." Simon says as we walk into his bedroom. "But I'm not tired, after that nap earlier." I mutter as I sit on the bed. Simon sits at his desk. "Well, do some work then." He says. "Got none." I say with a small smile. "Surely you have some to do." Simon says as he looks at me, dead in the eye. I shake my head. "Nope." I say, popping the 'p'. "Well, you either rest, or do something else." He sighs. "I cuddle you?" I question as I open my arms towards him. He shakes his head. "I've got work to do." He says. "No you don't." I pout as I walk over towards him. "Yes I do, Jess." He says as he turns to face his desk.

I wrap my arms around his shoulders from behind. "Do it later, daddy." I whisper into his ear. "No, it needs to be done now." He says as he unwraps my arms from around him. "You're boring." I sigh as I walk back over to the bed. I flop onto the bed, backwards. I look up at the ceiling and sigh, again.

"If you're patient, I'll try and mark all this as quick as I can." He says. "No, take your time." I huff. He sighs. "Alright, love." He mutters. I roll my eyes. Why can't he get it into his head that I'm an attention seeking, cuddle obsessed seventeen year old?! I wish he would. Maybe one day, he will.

Simon's POV

I look over at Jessica to see her lying on the bed, on her back, looking up at the ceiling. I sigh quietly to myself as I get up from my desk. I walk over to her. I then hover over her. A smile spreads itself across her face. "Happy now?" I ask as I raise an eyebrow at her. She nods, "Very." "Good." I smile down at her.

She plays with the bottom of my shirt. "Trying to tell me something?" I ask. She nods, "Possibly." She says. I lean in close to her ear, "I thought you're ill, baby." I whisper into her ear. She giggles, "I am, daddy." "You can't be, if you're wanting a specific something." I mutter quietly.

"I'm never too ill for you, daddy." She smirks up at me. I shake my head, "Wait until you're better, princess." I mutter before lying down next to her. She huffs, "Fine."
