Jessica's POV

I just sit there and look around as everyone else is doing work. I look over at Mr. Payne to see him doing something on his computer. "Urgh..." I groan quietly as I rest my head on the table in front of me. "What's wrong Jess?" Layla asks quietly. "I can't do this shitty work." I huff in annoyance. Layla sighs, "Have you even tried?" She asks. I look up at her, "Mhm." I hum. "Show me." She says. I groan again as I sit up. I push my work towards her, "See." I say before resting my head back on the table. "One sec," Layla says. "Sir!" She shouts a few seconds later. "Yes Layla?" Mr. Payne asks. I hear footsteps making their way over towards us. "Jessica can't do her work." Layla says once Mr. Payne is closer to us. "Have you even tried, Jessica?" He asks. "Look for yourself." I say bluntly. "Firstly, don't talk to me like that, Jessica..." He begins. I sit up and roll my eyes, "Whatever..." I sigh. "Stop with the attitude, Jess." Layla says. "I ain't got a attitude." I say rather harshly. "Jessica Moore, go to the headteachers office, now." Mr. Payne says sternly. I groan as I grab my things before storming out. I make sure I slam the door behind me, like I'm making a statement.

Vik's POV

"Come in!" I yell as someone is knocking on my door. The door flies open to reveal my assistant, Poppy, along with Jessica. "Jessica has been sent here by Mr. Payne, sir." Poppy explains. I sigh, "Come in then Jessica." I say, waving her over. Jessica walks in and throws her bag on the floor. "Thanks Poppy." I smile at her. She nods with a smile before leaving me and Jessica together on our own. "What did you do this time, Jess?" I ask as I lean forward slightly. "Nothing! It's Mr. Payne. He's a twat!" Jessica yells. "Watch your language, missy." I warn. "Sorry..." She sighs. "But it's true..." She adds on. I chuckle slightly, "Is he in a mood today?" I ask. She nods, "Must be." "That probably explains it then." I say, leaning back into my chair. "So, what now?" She asks. "I'll talk to him later..." I state. "Do I have to stay here?" She asks. "Why?" I ask. "I wanna see Si... If I'm honest." She says quietly. I smile, "Go and see him then." I say. She smiles widely at me, "Thank you!" She yells like a little kid before grabbing her stuff and rushing out. I laugh at her childish behavior.

"I can see why Simon loves her now..." I mumble to myself.
