Simon's POV

"How's work then?" Vik asks as he takes a sip of his drink. I shrug, "Alright." "Go-" "Come in!" I shout as someone is knocking on my door. The door opens to reveal a annoyed Jessica. "Jessica?" I question as she walks in. "Mr. Payne sent me here." She says as she sits next to Vik. "What did you do?" Vik asks. "Nothing." She says. "We were supposed to be doing a test, then he sent me out." She says, almost in a shout. "I'll talk to him. You stay here with Mr. Minter." Vik sighs as he makes his way out of my office. "Thanks." Jessica says with a small smile.

Soon enough Vik leaves, closing the door behind him.

"What really happened?" I ask as I sit next to her. "I just told you." She sighs. "So you didn't say anything?" I ask. "I did... Very quietly though." She mutters. "What did you say?" I ask "Fuck this." She mutters. I sigh, "He may of heard you, Jess." "Doubt it. He's practically deaf!" She says, almost in a shout. "Calm down." I mumble. "He's really pissed me off though, Si!" She yells as she stands up. I grab her wrist - not too tight - preventing her from walking off. "Sit down." I say, almost like a order. She sighs whilst rolling her eyes, "Fine." She groans as she sits back down. "Now, calm down, for me." I say, making her look at me. She nods, "I'll try." "If you want, you can stay in here and do your work." I say as I sit back behind my desk. "Really?" She asks; her eyes light up. I nod, "Mhm." I hum. "Thanks." She smiles. "But, I'll have to ask Mr. Barn first." I say as I begin marking work again. "Fair enough." She sighs.

Soon enough, Vik and Ethan walk into my office, making me look up from what I was doing. "Mr. Minter, a word please." Vik says. I nod as I walk out my office with them. "Stay there Jess." I quickly say before closing my door.

"Jessica is going to be doing her test with you." Vik says as he passes me a science test paper. I nod, "Okay." "She's also going to be staying with you, until she's much calmer." Vik adds on. I nod again, "Okay." "Anything else?" I ask. "Yeah, she needs to apologies." Ethan says. I sigh, "Then let's do that then." I mutter. Vik and Ethan nod as I open my office door again. Jessica looks up at us, "Yes?" She asks. "Apologies to Mr. Payne please." Vik says, sternly. Jessica sighs, "Sorry." She mutters. Ethan nods, "Thank you." He says before walking off with Vik. I walk back into my office, making sure to close the door behind me. "Now what?" She asks. "You're staying here with me." I smile as I sit next to her. "Thank God." She sighs, making me chuckle. "Now, here's your test. Do it." I say as I pass her, her science test. She groans, "I can't do science though." "I'll help you." I smile. "That's not allowed." She mutters as she opens it up. "No one'll know." I say. "True." She shrugs.

"Come on, let's begin." I say. She nods as she grabs a pen, ready to start her science test.
