Jessica's POV

After that long stop, we finally make it back to my place. "Hey, um..." I begin as I un-buckle my seat belt. "What?" He asks as he looks at me. "Do you, um... Do you wanna meet my mum?" I ask. He sighs as he looks over at my place. He looks back at me with a smile. "Sure." He says. My face brightens up. "Yay!" I cheer, making him laugh.

We both then get out the car and walk towards my place.

"By the way, she doesn't know that you're my teacher. But, she knows you're older than me." I explain as we walk up my driveway. "Okay." He nods. "Just say we met through a friend or something. That's what I told her." I say. He nods.

We finally make it to my door. "Ready?" I ask him with a small smile. He nods with a smile. "Ready." He says. I nod before opening the door. "Mum!" I yell as we walk in. "Mum! My boyfriend is here!" I yell out as I close the door behind us.

Footsteps come rushing down the stairs. Then enters my mum, all dressed up. "Ah, darling." She smiles at me as she pulls me into a hug. "Mummy, this is Simon, my boyfriend." I smile at her as I point over at Simon who's stood a few meters behind. "Well, hello Simon." She smiles at him. "Hello." He smiles back at her.

"Anyway, I've gotta go sweetie." My mum says as she quickly grabs her phone. "Where you going?" I ask. "To see Thomas, dear." She says with a smile. "Well, can I stay at Simon's then?" I ask, as she obviously doesn't want me home after all. "Sure." She smiles. "Anyway, bye all!" She says before rushing out.

"And that is my mum." I say as I flop down onto the sofa. "She seems... Lovely." He says, taking a pause. "She has her moments." I say, making him chuckle. "That's mum for you, I guess." He says as he sits next to me. "I guess." I sigh.

"Anyway, go get your things then, love." He says as he places his hand on my knee. "Okay." I nod as I stand up. "Care to join me?" I ask. "I'd love to." He smiles. I smile back before walking towards the stairs. Simon follows closely behind.
