My stomach became uneasy at the thought of meeting her parents but I shook it off and quickly got ready and packed my bags. She didn't necessarily tell me How long I was staying so I over packed a few days worth of outfits.
After my bags were all packed I called an uber. It says on my phone that they were only 2 minutes away, thank god.

I turn my head and see Lindsey walking towards me in the dark of the night, out of all people in the world she shows up at this very moment when I'm on my way to see Lauren. What are the fucking odds?

" going to Texas."
" What? I thought you hated Texas.. but anyways, I came to apologize for yesterday..."
A black Audi then pulled up, I looked Down at my phone at the cars description and back up. Yeah that's the one.
" Ubers here." I grabbed my bags and the driver popped the trunk for me.
" why are you acting so different towards me? It's like you look right past me now." Her eyes became glassy
" no I just see past your bullshit." I got in the backseat and closed the door. " I gotta be there by 10:50 I hope you drive like vin diesel." I said to the driver and giggled
I looked out the window and seen Lindsey still standing there crying. Not gonna lie I felt bad but I was only speaking the truth, and the truth hurts.
