" So i can come pick up a truck today?" I asked the annoying lady on the other line.
" Yes ma'am, and it looks like your insurance covers it so just bring your license and the registration for the vehicle that was in the car accident" i heard her keyboard making little clicks as she typed away " well you're all set, im sorry it took so long its just a long process and i hope you feel better soon!"
"Yeah thanks" I held the phone to my ear with my shoulder so i could mix the crepé batter but it accidentally hung up. Oh well she was getting on my nerves anyways, 4 hours on the phone with an old lady who spoke 3 words per minute was literally the most annoying thing-- especially at 6 in the morning.
Clara literally called me at 5:30am and made me get up to get the truck situation figured out so i could make sure Taylor got here safely, which i understood but like seriously 5am?

I sighed and picked my phone back up as i made the custard filling "hey jess" i said with a sleepy voice.
"Whats up whats upppp, am i taking you to pick up little Lauren or what?" He asked
"Uh im actually getting my new truck at 11 i guess, you can pick me up and take me to jeep if you want"
"Dude its like 10:20 are you even ready?"
"Im making the girls breakfast right now i just have to put pants on" i took out a few plates and set them on the counter then carefully set the crepés on the plate in hope they would still look presentable. What can i say i like being a show off when it comes to food, blame my dad for making me watch chef Ramsey 24/7.
He sighed "You should be laying down dude"
"So you must want to go to jeep by yourself fill out everything for me and magically bring my truck and your truck back all by yourself then get Taylor from the airport" i snapped
"Damn fuck is wrong with you? Lauren not givin' you any?" He huffed
"No.. i mean yes she is im just tired Ive been up since 5am and the fucking Insurance lady pissed me off"
He giggled " im on my way with a bowl man, be there soon"
I let out a long sigh " alright, doors unlocked"
I set my phone down on the counter and placed a few warm strawberry slices down the crepé in a line and carried three plates to the guest room. I couldn't help but let out a soft breathily laugh as the girls came in sight. There sleeping positions literally represented their personalities.
"Hey i made breakfast" i annoyingly kicked the bed until Dinah sat up half way with her eyes closed and threw a pillow in my direction but i dodged it, thankfully. "Uh rude. I made you breakfast jerk now wake the fuck up"
"Oops my bad" dinah said sleepily as she shook mani and ally
"Mm goodmorning hun" ally smiled " You're the sweetest"
"Good Morning ally" i swear Lauren and ally were literally like little rays of sunshine that could always make me smile-- maybe because they were the nicest, Dinah and mani were more like my annoying little sisters.
"Thank you y/n" manis voice was thick with sleep.
"Mhm i have to leave soon so ill see you guys later, you can stay as long as you want and anything thats mine is yours, Just ask Lauren where everything is" i pursed my lips and nodded as i turned on my heels and made my way back to the kitchen to grab Lauren's plate.
"We love youuuuuu y/n" Dinah shouted with a mouth full of food.
I turned around and smiled "i love you guys too" i mocked Dinahs muffled voice and pretended like i was chewing food.
