Currently on my way to meet up with Camila, Bates is tagging along for he took on the role of my bodyguard as well. The man does it all.

"Y/n i cannot believe you blew off your first interview to kick some dudes ass" he sighed, giving me a fatherly look.

"If you know what he did you'd understand" I shrugged and looked out the window.

"Care to explain?"

"He had sex with my ex during a PR relationship and bought her a ring as an apology gift and everyone thought it was an engagement ring so well i kicked his ass" i huffed.

He scrunched his face up and giggled in a deep manly way "oo yeah he had it coming" he chuckled "did you get your point across?"

"Yeah I'm pretty sure i did" I shrugged with a smile. "You really got me an interview though?"

"Yeah it was just a little radio interview but i think it would've really started you up" he shrugged " it could've gave people a better look of who you are"

I giggled and slouched down in the passenger seat "what would they even ask me" i huffed " so y/n how big is your dick? Like i haven't really done anything interesting yet" i chuckled "all they really can talk about is my dick"

He looked at me like he agreed to what i said and pulled up to the curb in an empty parallel parking spot. "You want me to come in with you? Ill sit at a different table" he asked, ready to pull the keys out of the ignition of my jeep.

I chuckled and nudged my door open with my elbow "bates you can sit with us I'm not a dick " I huffed.

I sipped my coffee and pretend to laugh at Camila's joke she just told. Something about jimmy and joe? I don't know, all I know is the waitress needs to jimmy my food before i die of hunger.

"So how are the girls?" She asked with a sadden look.

I bounced my eyebrows up and down and looked at her "wouldn't know" I shrugged.

"You haven't talked to them at all?" She frowned.

I shook my head and took another sip of my coffee "nope, well i seen them today but I didn't talk to them really, just Lauren but it was mostly screaming" I giggled.

Bates let out a deep chuckle and continued to scroll down his iPad. "Yeah she beat up that Zayn kid" he huffed "and blew off an interVEIW" he said looking at me, blinking rapidly.

"You did whattttt?" Camila said as she chewed on her straw.

"Thank you! It could've really helped h-" bates was cut off by Camila looking at him with pursed lips. "You weren't talking about the interview part huh" he tightened his lips and rolled his eyes "sorry ill shut up now" he sighed.

"Long story" I shrugged and nudged bates on the arm with my elbow. "What do you do on that thing all day? You're as bad as Kendall" I huffed and leaned over to look at the screen.

"Work" he said dully as he typed an email.

"What kind of work?" I asked.

"Work that helps your career. Any more questions?" He looked at me for a quick second and half smiled.

"Can you get me on the Today show or something?" I giggled "theres a task for you"
