I quickly put my socks on and crumpled my shirt together for easy head access. "Where are you going? Its like 8 in the morning?" Lindsey yawned.
"I didn't mean to fall asleep here" i huffed. "I have things to do" i threw my arms in the sleeves and fixed my shirt before standing up. I grabbed my keys from the nightstand "Well bye i guess"
"Kiss before you go" she smiled sleepily.
"I can't i have to go" i shot her a fake smile and turned on my heels but she grabbed my hand and pulled me back.
"Its just a kiss"
It's never just a kiss, its never just a few beers, it's never just sex. She's trying to reel me back in but I don't think she's caught on yet that it doesn't work anymore. I rolled my eyes and leaned into her lips giving her a quick kiss.
I sighed " can i go now?"
"Why are you so grumpy? Smile first" she frowned.
"Seriously linds come on i have to go i have important shit to take care of today"
"Like what?"
"I have to fly my stylist back out from Paris, i wanna look at houses today, i ha- Lindsey i don't need to explain myself to you anymore, let me know when you want me to go see dad again" I finally walked away and made it to the front door, grabbing my guitar on the way out.
It was foggy and slightly rainy out today, basically a gloomy stay in and cuddle day. I quickly hopped in the Jeep and brought it to life with a twist of a key.
*bzzzz bzzzzz*
"Hey bates" i yawned.
"Should i get Savannah back in LA?" He sounded wide awake for some reason.
"Do we need her yet? If we don't then let her enjoy herself until we do and whats planned for today?" I lied to Lindsey to be honest, i had literally nothing planned out for today, i just wanted to get the hell out of there.
i pulled into traffic carefully and put bates on speaker. "It looks like a pretty laid back day so far but id be ready for little pop ups just incase" i could hear him rubbing his prickly beard even through the phone. "Did you have anything in mind?"
" I really wanna look at houses today buttttt it would be greatly appreciated if you find a few i might like and show me them later" i smiled, even though he couldn't see me.
" It would be greatly appreciated if you gave me a big raise too" he chuckled. "Sure y/n"
"You're amazing i hope you know that"
"You're a pain in my ass already i hope you know that" he giggled.

I bent over and wrapped my hair in a towel before jogging down the stairs to wake V. I didn't even wanna touch her after having sex with Lindsey, which was a mistake, I know, but I mean she's Lindsey and I'm single. So, why not?
I slowly sat down on her stomach and bounced up and down making the whole couch move. "Hey wake up" i smiled.
"Whattttt" she whined. "Come here Im cold" she pulled me down on top of her and held me close to her chest comfortably. "Are you busy today?" She said softly as she nodded her head in the back of the couch to get comfortable.
