"difficult? if anyone here is being difficult that would be you. i'm not getting married to her."
"why don't you get it?"
changkyun's father yelled at him as earlene left.
"you want money don't you? hiw much more money do you want? if you want someone to get married to get money then you should. no wonder mother left."
"how dare you bring up your mother..."
his father unleashed his sword and pointed it at his son's forehead. changkyun's pupils shook in fear as his body stood cold and frozen.
"just...", his father dropped the sword to the ground, "...get out of my sight."
the king's long velvet cape dragged behind him as he left his son alone.
"wow...i've never seen the king this mad."
"get out vener."
"i should be telling you that. you hurt your poor father. he could've left you instead of taking you in."
"he should've left me...", changkyun muttered.
"i wish he left you too, prince", vener laughed. vener's footsteps got closer to changkyun and he smiled.
"don't you think you're being the selfish one here? always wanting things your way?"
"but it's not like things do turn out my way", the prince snapped
"now prince, unlike your father, all you ever do is waste time. you don't have to deal with any work or stress. can't you be a little more, i don't know....understanding?"
"i would if he would. all he wants is money. if he wants money from someone he should go get married."
"you have a point there prince."
huffing out a breath, he tapped his foot on the ground. his father's office was covered in books and papers but changkyun himself has never got the chance to look through them. he was waiting for vener to leave so he could probably find clues about his father.
"are you gonna get out your father's office or what?", vener snapped.
