"evana!"
evana ran up the long staircase, her eyes tightly shut as she was still crying.
"evana please!"
"GO AWAY VENER!"
she slammed her door shut and sobbed loudly. from the outside you could hear her knocking over her chair and tearing down her curtains. her screams of anger as she flipped her table. a huge crash echoed as she threw something at the window. the sound of shattered glass.
vener kicked the door, not caring if he would break his bones.
"I WON'T LEAVE! WE MADE A BET DIDN'T WE? IF I DON'T DO YOUR PART THEN WE'RE NOT DONE YET!", vener banged the door.
evana peeked through the door as she had no emotion on her face.
"you're going to still continue for me?"
"i'm only helping you because you need to do your part of the bet", vener blushed.
"o-oh okay, of course."
her room was a mess. she was a mess.
vener entered her room without her permission and shut the door, telling her to sit on her torn up bed.
"let it out."
"what?"
"i said let out your thoughts and feelings. quit bottling everything up."
vener lightly pushed her auburn curls behind her face as she started to speak.
"you don't understand how much i love him. once i started working here i fell in love. everything about him is so perfect. i thought it could be like the fairy tales. but i was just a simple maid. i wasn't a princess or anything special. year after year i tried to get some kind of attention from him. i didn't want the 'maid to prince' connection. i wanted to at least be able to hold a conversation or something-"
"will you stop crying? i swear..."
pulling up his sleeve he gently wiped her tears off her delicate skin.
"seeing [y/n] easily get his attention made me so jealous and agitated. how come i couldn't get his attention over the years but she could get it in a few days? what does she have that i don't? changkyun hates me so much. i want to know why. is it because i'm too ugly?"
