today was the day that was meant to be filled with love but for some reason that's not how it's turning out. you were just going to ask wonho if he wanted to go for a little walk since he's been cooped up in his room for like a week for some reason but he pushed you away, saying he's still busy.
shutting his door behind you, you decided to go out on a walk for yourself. grabbing one of wonho's hoodies, since you didn't want to wear a coat, you walked outside. the weather was perfect. kids were outside running around as adults roamed around the small shops. you smiled at the view and looked down when you felt something pull at your jeans. a little boy looked up at you.
"hello there", you said as you knelt down to his height.
"hi."
he seemed lost and clueless of everything.
"are you lost?"
the boy frantically nodded his head, glad that you knew exactly what his problem was. he told you that he lost his parents in the crowds.
"don't let go of my hand."
he nodded and stuck his body closer to you. the crowds were more crowded than usual so it was hard to see and get through. you decided to carry the boy so he wouldn't get trampled over.
"can we get that?"
with his small finger he pointed at a candy store. ruffling his hair you couldn't help but say yes since he was so adorable. once you entered the store the boy smiled at you sweetly and ran towards some candies. as you were walking behind him you froze when you saw someone in the corner of your eyes.
"wonho?"
"oh hey [y/n]."
"'oh hey'? that's all you're gonna say to me?"
wonho smiled as he moved his bangs away from his eyes.
"yes i am just going to say 'oh hey' to you."
"what are you doing here?", you asked trying to change the subject.
"getting candy and stuff. you know, to help me keep awake when i'm working."
you knew that there wasn't any work he was working on. but you didn't want to say anything to put the situation in a more awkward place than it already is.
