she told you and kihyun what evana told them.
"that's terrible...", kihyun stared at the ground.
"the king was the exact same man. you know what? now that i think about it, most of the people that we meet always say that it was a man in a cloak that hurt them or killed them", fawn's mother thought to herself.
"then the king is the one who's doing this obviously."
"but why?", you furrowed your eyebrows.
"he might be a killer or something. my father is dead because of that man."

"no! he's killing everyone! i'm not going to let him kill or hurt anymore innocent lives."
"that's not what i was gonna talk about. do you think that vener has something to do with this?"
"of course he does. he probably put evana first and if it was successful he's look like the hero but instead she died so now he's scared. he's the real coward."

"evana also said that she stabbed the king but it wasn't him. he said that he knew that vener was behind everything", fawn pointed out.
"maybe the guy she stabbed was the king and the other guy is faking to be the king?"
"seriously kihyun? then who would that other person be? if the king knew already then it's obvious he'd put a fake version of him. if you knew someone was going to kill you in your sleep you'd put a fake in your bed, wouldn't you?", you said.
"that's true."
"maybe the king is some sort of creature", you said jokingly.
"he could be."

"he could be a demon. maybe some sort of spirit went in his brain!"
you, fawn and fawn's mother stared at kihyun like he was crazy.
"i'm pretty sure that spirit is in you since you keep having such dumb thoughts", you rolled your eyes.
"come on [y/n]. remember when we were little and how outside the village there was a demonic killer or something? remember those noises we heard at night and how everyone would stay silent in their houses?"
