the sweet voice sang your name and you twitched as you couldn't manage to move. not even your eyelids felt like opening. your lower part of the body was aching as it was stuck inside the dried up bandages. but you could tell exactly who that voice was.
"does your body still hurt? do you want some water?"
"k-kihyun..."
your voice was shaky and you could hardly mutter his name. kihyun could tell just by looking at you that you couldn't do much. he could see that your body wasn't ready for anything. with that he placed a kiss on your head, whispering sweet words into your ear which made you drift into a deep sleep.
"sleep well [y/n]."

your body shivered as it was against the grass. for some reason you were able to stand up.
"how did i get here?", you wondered.
unaware of your surroundings you stood up. it was night and your feet sinked into the cold mud beneath you. everything around you was just breathtaking. turning your head you saw something behind a bush. pulling over the leaves you saw a fawn sitting there, injured.
it's leg had a huge cut and it cried of help. ripping off the end of your nightgown, you tightly wrapped it around its leg but making sure to be as gently as possible. as you were doing so, the baby deer stared at you with its deep chocolate eyes. it brought its head towards your neck, stroking it. not even a minute has passed and the fawn was already attached to you.
"the people probably hurt you didn't they?", you asked sweetly.
even though the fawn obviously couldn't make words to reply back you wanted to soothe it. your fingers gently ran through its back as it was still staring at you. you've never been so close to a baby deer before.
