kihyun guided the steed through the forest as it started to get darker and darker. your grasp around his waist started to tighten as your head started to play the terrifying sounds of the night. kihyun snapped the reins, causing the horse to run forward but kihyun told it to calm down, knowing that anything could happen.
"are we almost there?", you asked.
"i think so."
"do do doooo..."
"what is that?", you jumped.
"i don't know", kihyun panicked as the horse started fasting walking.
"doooo do do doooo..."
"who the hell makes a noise like that?", kihyun laughed but stopped when the low, raspy voice started again.
"kihyun. i see something."
the white spheres with black ones in the middle were staring at you. they were humongous eyes, all the way at the end from your right. you both made eye contact and in a flash it started running.
"mOVE!"
kihyun pulled the reins and snapped it, making the horse go up and run forward. your heart was racing at the unusual and frightening creature. it was like a long furry figure with no visible arms or legs. the only thing that stood out was it's huge white eyes with shaking pupils in the dark.
pulling out your sword, you let your back hit kihyun's so you could attack if needed. but instead, the horse skipped over a twig which made you lose balance, falling to the floor.
"[y/n]!"
kihyun tried turning the horse around but it wouldn't calm down. the monster brought its head down closer to you, exposing its huge mouth and shining teeth. his red tongue that looked like it was soaked in blood stuck out. grabbing your sword, you stabbed it, slicing off a part of his tongue which gave you time to scoot back and run towards kihyun. but that didn't work.
the monster swirled around you, like a snake in air or something. kihyun jumped off the horse and grabbed his sword, trying to cut through the creature but it wouldn't even make a scratch. but when kihyun stabbed straight into the black creature, light seeped through the wound.
and you and the monster disappeared.
