you sat behind kihyun as changkyun and camellia were together. vener took the lead and pulled up the reins, making the horse move with a flick of the wrist.
"i've been here my whole life and i've never seen a tree upside", changkyun said.
"what does this tree even do?", kihyun asked.
vener took a steep turn which lead into the forest.
"when you guys were looking in the book did you not see what was written there?", vener asked.
"it was too blurry", camellia said.
"well if you were able to read it, it's a tree with powers."
you laughed a bit, not believing the whole thing.
"first we have monsters. then we got demon kings. now we have magical upside trees. wow, what a day."
"that's just how it is", vener shrugged.
"how does it float?", changkyun barged in.
"i'll answer questions when we get there so shut up."

you started to feel dizzy and laid your head on kihyun's back, snoozing off. but you jumped up when you felt a bump. looking up, you saw as the dark green grass was turning lighter. the horse's legs were walking alongside a stream that was sparkling clear, something you've never seen before.
"we're here."
looking up, you rubbed your eyes again. once you opened your eyelids you looked up in awe.
