"Hey handsome." Lucy smirked as she passed Wyatt, he blushed but spun to follow her, stepping into her personal space, though by now, personal space wasn't a thing for those two. "Why are you following me?"

"I don't see why a pretty girl like you should be walking alone," Wyatt shrugged, Lucy let out a laugh and shook her head at him, "Besides Christopher said we don't have to stay. It doesn't look like Flynn going anywhere today."

"Then I'll just get back to me fiance then." Lucy said, knowing it would bother Wyatt, she looked down at her coffee then up at him, she could see his jaw tense at the mention of Noah. Wyatt had a scowl plastered across his face.

"You're fiance doesn't even know you," Wyatt grumbled, "But you could get to know me if you like." His playful grin reappeared and he raised his brows down at her, Lucy's cheeks went pink, trying to understand what he meant by get to know him, but she'd pulled herself into the game now so she'd have to play along.

"Mm, see as cute as you look in this suit, I'm going to have to decline, although...if I wasn't engaged..." Lucy said flirtatiously, running her hand along his collar. Wyatt watched her carefully, wondering why she was joining in on the game, he never said she was a horrible flirt, because she wasn't. She lifted her eyes to look at him, taking a sip of her coffee. "No, really I have to go see Noah, I'll see you later?"

Wyatt went from a lovestruck boy to a frown as soon as she said she's got to go see Noah. "Why? Trying another first date again?"

Lucy rolled her eyes. "No actually. He wanted to show me something." Wyatt raised his eyebrows and her cheeks flushed a deep crimson. "Not like that!" Wyatt chuckled, taking her hand which had still been holding his collar, his stroked her knuckles with his thumb, Lucy's eyes flickered to it. It was such a soft, gentle touch, she was surprised, she'd always imagined he'd have more of a strong hold. Her eyes glanced back up at him, looking between him and their hands. "Wyatt...I've got to go..."

Wyatt let out a groan. "Fine, see you later babydoll." He sighed, dropping her hand. Her eyebrows creased, scanning him, trying to figure out his emotions, which had suddenly gone blank. She moved her hand back to her side, taking another sip from her coffee and stepping out of his face.

"See you later, handsome." Lucy smiled genuinely, then leaving him by himself as Rufus came over throwing his arm around Wyatts shoulders, startling him.

"Come on, both of the girls are off somewhere, lets go get a drink celebrate not having to chase a criminal through time." Rufus told him, directing them both towards the door. "Besides it's almost Christmas!"

"Yeah, Christmas, woo." Wyatt said sarcastically, Rufus gave him a shocked expression, looking at him like committed a crime.

"You don't like Christmas? Are you kidding me?!" Rufus exclaimed, every year he'd celebrate Christmas with a party, his whole family invited, cousins and all. Occasionally friends, and he just loved it, the music, the dancing, the food, the decorations, et cetera. Wyatt shook his head.

"Christmas was never my time of year."

"Come on man, not even the food?" Rufus questioned, Wyatt shook his head, "The festivals? Music? Free drinks?"

"The free drinks thing is usually on New Years." Wyatt told him, Rufus sighed, shaking his head.

"Come to my Christmas party this year. I'll make sure you enjoy it, everyone in the Rufus family loves Christmas, we'll change your mind, trust me." Rufus insisted, urging him to go as they waited on the street for the cars to pass by.

"Nope, I don't do parties, they're too loud." Wyatt muttered, crossing the road, Rufus running to walk beside him, trying not to get ran over.

"Too lou-man, you were in the army! What's louder than that? All those gun shots, yelling. Just come to the party, it this Saturday usually," Rufus told him, but he could still sense the hesitant look in Wyatts face. "Look, I'll even invite Lucy, without Noah."

His face changed then, he let out a sigh. "Fine, I'll go, but I won't be happy about it and I'm not wearing a Christmas jumper, understand?"

"Got it, no need we might love Christmas but we swore off the jumpers years ago." Rufus assured him, but fist pumped the air in success. "You know what? First drinks on me."
