Lucy turned over still comforted by Wyatt's arms locked her middle, she smiled softly to herself as she watched him sleep so soundly beside her, he looked so peaceful, something she didn't see that often with Wyatt. She wished he felt like that all the time, he was always worrying about one thing or another; whether that was about her or Rufus or stopping Flynn, he always had a running mind.  He stirred making Lucy freeze as his eyes fluttered open, for a moment he seemed a little dazed then he wore a smirk on his face.

"I thought it was rude to stare, ma'am." Wyatt teased, his arms loosened around her but he didn't remove them and she was glad, she was enjoying his warmth. Lucy let out a light laugh and shrugged.

"Couldn't help it, I don't think I've seen you look so peaceful," Lucy replied, resting her head on his chest. "What were you dreaming about?"

"Freedom. Being free from chasing Flynn, free from all this Rittenhouse crap," Wyatt mumbled, running his hand through her hair as the other rested on her back. "Somewhere where me and you, Rufus and Jiya too could be safe. It's not like we're exactly free now, at any moment we could be called in for another job. We're in danger basically every mission."

"Sounds like a nice dream..." Lucy admitted, she liked the sound of being away from all this and being with Wyatt, life sounded so perfect when she thought of her future with him. She craned her neck to look up at him, their eyes locked on contact, sharing their connection of longing for that simple life. "Maybe one day?"

"Yeah, maybe one day." Wyatt agreed, giving her a little nod, then letting out a breath. He wanted to savor this moment where right there and then, they had nothing to worry about. They were both happy in each other's arms. Lucy closed her eyes, hoping she could fall back asleep and dream a dream like the one Wyatt had but a loud knock thundered throughout the house, startling both Wyatt and Lucy. Wyatt was up in milliseconds, reaching for his gun that he always kept on the bedside table beside his bed. He looked to Lucy, she'd already sat up her eyebrows knitted together, unsure of the person at the door but they were both certain that their visitor wasn't invited. "Stay here."

Wyatt made his way towards the door but Lucy hissed, "Wyatt," Keeping her voice down, but Wyatt looked back and she threw him a shirt, he looked down and noticed he wasn't wearing one, he nodded in thanks and slid on the shirt. Lucy stood in his bedroom listening in, terrified it could be someone dangerous. But once she heard the door and Wyatt prepping his gun she winced, scared to hear gunshots. Silence filled the apartment for a few minutes but voices picked up.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Wyatt snarled, to their uninvited guest, Lucy strained to hear, she knew to stay put until she knew who it was. But the spite in Wyatt's words made her sure that she shouldn't leave the room. Not yet.

"Now let's lower our guns before a passing neighbour sees and calls the police," Lucy's eyes widened at the sound of the voice, she knew exactly who the voice was immediately, she'd heard it enough times to know the cruel tone. Flynn.

"No. Not until I know what you're doing at my apartment." Wyatt frowned, holding the gun steady prepared to shoot if need be, it wasn't like he'd be arrested for it, that was literally his job-to take down Flynn. But he was even more wry because Lucy was there, he prayed she'd remain where she was until he dealt with Flynn. He frowned when Flynn sighed and tucked his gun in his back pocket and held up both hands in surrender.

"There, no harm will be inflicted. I just came to warn you." Flynn spoke, Lucy heard footsteps and knew Flynn had entered the apartment. She made her way across Wyatt's room to get her clothes from the night before but as she did she stood on a loose floorboard and she didn't think she'd ever heard a floorboard make a sound as loud as that. She cursed under her breath. Flynn's eyes narrowed as they flickered to Wyatt's room and to Wyatt who glared back but he was stood in line with his bedroom door, assuring that Flynn wouldn't be able to get in there. "Whose in there?"

"No one of your concern, I suggest you give me my warning and leave." Wyatt spat, he hated Flynn more than anyone and he wasn't going to let him know Lucy was in the room. Flynn look hesitant but didn't argue.

"Rittenhouse had took action. Soon enough your headquarters are going to be swarming with them, if there not already. You'll understand my hate for them soon enough, especially Lucy. I suggest you watch her closely, Rittenhouse has a connection to her...I've tried to warn her myself but she seems stuck on the fact that I'm lying to her." Flynn told Wyatt. His eyes flickered to the bedroom knowing Lucy was most likely listening, he was hoping she didn't come bursting out like he was expecting her too but everything remained quiet.

"How do you know all this?" Wyatt asked, this time not so defensive, more curious. Flynn simply shrugged.

"It doesn't matter how I know. Just keep an eye on Lucy and make sure Rufus does exactly what he's told otherwise he's dead. I may not like the guy or you for that matter, I may have tried to kill you all a few times but I still have the hope that you'll soon realise I'm not the bad guy in all this." Flynn replied, "Next time I jump, which will be soon. Tell me whether your to be helping me or you can choose to help the people that have been twisting the rules fro centuries."

Wyatt watched as he turned his back on him and headed to the door, pausing as he placed his hand on the handle and looked over his shoulder. "I'll see you soon enough, you too Lucy, I knew it wouldn't be too long before you two got together." Flynn said loud enough for them both to hear, Lucy looked flustered as she came out of the bedroom, wearing her clothes from the night before, Wyatt's cheeks had reddened but he still kept a glare on Flynn until he left without another word. Wyatt slid his hand into Lucy's, unsure if Flynn was telling the truth about the warning.

"Do you think he was telling the truth?" Lucy asked, clearly thinking the same thing. Wyatt gave her hand a squeeze.

"I don't know. Let's hope he wasn't."
