Wyatt had split from Rufus, who'd headed left whereas he headed right. He scouted the area, trying to find any sign of Flynn or one of his men but he saw nothing. No Flynn. Wyatt wasn't too surprised but he was still angry, it was his job to kill Flynn yet every time he has a chance, he can't take it. Or they never find Flynn in the first place. He let out an aggressive sigh, feeling like punching a wall but he knew. He heard a rustling, he furrowed his eyebrows, looking around him trying to find the source of the noise. Then he realised it was coming from the coms.

"Lucy? Rufus? What's that noise?" Wyatt called out, trying not to look insane to the people around him, the get up got their attention enough.

"Lucy, what are you doing?" Rufus asked, showing Wyatt it wasn't him, they heard a light sigh and Lucy cursing under her breath, Wyatt couldn't help but smile, it was such a girly sigh he knew it belonged to her.

"Nothing, I just tried to ask this man if he knew where Guy Fawkes was, or if he knew anything about him and he handed me a bag of bread, it won't stop rustling." Lucy frowned, glancing down at the small bag in her clutch.

Wyatt let out a laugh. "You sure there's bread in there?"

"Well it was a bakery—" Lucy stopped walking and opened the bag, her scream ran through the coms piercing both Rufus's and Wyatt's ears they winced at the sound. Wyatt flipped into panic mode, uncertain if that was a scream of I'm being attacked  or an oh my god! New shoes type of scream.

"Lucy? You good?" He asked, he heard a whimper.

"No, it wasn't bread, more like a live mouse, I think I just had a little heartattack." Lucy groaned, wiping her hands in her dress, terrified of what that mouse could've carried. "I can't remember if the plague was around this age, god I hope not or I think I'll be taking another trip to the med bay. Anyway, any sign of Flynn?"

"No he hasn't shown his face, neither has his guys." Wyatt replied, relaxing.

"He's not around here either." Rufus chimed in, they heard a gasp through the coms, both of them knowing it was Lucy. Wyatt rolled his eyes with a grin.

"Saw another mouse?"

"No, I see Flynn. I think he's coming over, oh god, what do I do?" Lucy hissed, freezing on the spot as a grinning Flynn stalked towards her.

"Stall him, I'm coming." Wyatt told her, moving fast to get to where they'd left Lucy. Flynn finally caught up to Lucy, eyeing her making her feel uncomfortable under his gaze.

"You look particularly lovely this century, Lucy." He complimented, making her scowl at him, she couldn't stand the sight of him. She moved a step backwards, distancing herself from him. He pouted, "Oh, come on, it was just a compliment."

"I don't want your compliments." She spat, her hand wrapped around her purse, prepared to open it and shoot him if need be, although deep down she knew she didn't have the guts to. He moved towards her once again, making her step back once more. "Stop."

"I was just going to tell you what I was doing here, I can't say it aloud can I? Someone might hear and there will be a hunt for me instead of Fawkes." Flynn shrugged, Lucy allowed him to step closer, only because she wanted to learn what he was doing. "Guy Fawkes won't be caught."

Lucy's face fell into shock, that could screw up almost everything for the English history. She didn't hesitate, she pulled out the gun her hands shaking as she pointed it at him, her breathing quickened. She was fed up with him changing history and if she killed him then and there it would stop. But she'd never killed before. Flynn just grinned, Lucy had caught the attention of the public, people screaming running but her eyes were stuck on him.

"I am so sick of having to clean up after your mess, if I shoot you now, it's over. Christopher will start to work on getting my sister back, you won't be screwing up history, everyones happy." Lucy hissed, her voice breaking slightly out of fear. Flynn didn't seem bothered.

"But then your adventure would be over, besides you won't shoot, one thing I know about you Lucy is your not a killer, look at your hands, they're shaking." Flynn told her, putting his hands at his side. Wyatt came around the corner, to an almost empty street and Lucy pointing the gun at Flynn.

"I might not be a killer but I'll have no problem putting down someone like you. You've killed so many Flynn, so many innocent people." Lucy spoke, her hands calming down and becoming still as she pointed it at him.

"I've killed people who are going to die anyway."

"Maybe, but they were supposed to die in the hands of others not yours." Lucy frowned, Wyatt had edged closer to Lucy, he knew the real reason Flynn didn't act as Lucy pulled the gun up on him. Flynn could swipe it as though it was candy from a child and he knew once she pulled that trigger he'd either take her hostage or kill her. No inbetween. Lucy hadn't a chance.

"Shoot me then, give me the punishment I deserve." Flynn said, stepping closer and outstretched his arms, giving her a clear shot at him. But Lucy could sense something off.

"No, Guy Fawkes, where is he?" Lucy demanded, taking safety off of the gun to show she was serious. Wyatt was behind her now, waiting for Flynns move so he could grab Lucy and bolt. Flynn laughed at her question.

"Same place he was before, just this time, no one's going to stop his little display." Flynn shrugged, edging closer to Lucy, knowing she was putting the pieces together, her eyes widened. "Ah, you've got it. Good girl."

Flynn lunged at her, Wyatt saw the move and his arm was around Lucy's waist and he bolted down a side alley, not looking back knowing Flynn was at his tail. He kept a hand in Lucy's as he pulled her along, turning corners then pulling them behind a bunch of trash cans. He placed his hand over her mouth so she didn't make a noise and Flynn darted past, when he knew it was clear he let go of Lucy's mouth. She had tears at the rim of her eyes, she fell onto Wyatt, breaking down in tears.

"I—I thought I could do it," She said between sobs, Wyatt rubbed her back, keeping her close as her head rested on his shoulder. He leant his head against hers.

"She did good, but your not a killer Lucy, you wouldn't be able to do it. Just...be careful next time, Flynns smarter than you think." Wyatt told her in a hushed voice, he remembered her side, pulling her at arms length to look at her face, tear stained and terrified. She was usually so strong but he knew this was just a build up of holding in too many emotions. "Is your side ok? I didn't mean to grab you so hard."

"It, it hurts a little I guess. But thank you for saving me, again." Lucy smiled, Wyatt helped her stand, keeping a hand around her waist, scared she'd fall seem as she was only just about able to walk.

"Let's get you back to the B&B, no doubt someone told the soldiers." Wyatt told her, heading back the way they came.
