Lucy invited Jiya out to grab some food, knowing just sitting and waiting for their loved ones to return was just agitating, Lucy didn't know how Jiya could do it every time they went on a mission. Jiya reluctantly agreed, she only left because Christopher promised to get hold of them if the boys returned whilst they were gone. The streets were filled with people, most passing by in a rush, most likely late to something, some strolled happily down the street, their hands entwined with their boyfriend or girlfriend, teens were walking, headphones in and blanking out the world as a teenager would. But Jiya practically moped down the street towards the small corner café, Lucy linked their arms giving her a soft shoulder bump.

"Come on, they'll be back soon just you wait, I bet as soon as we get back the boys will be heading to wardrobe and then we'll be waiting for them," Lucy smiled kindly down at Jiya, she wasn't that small but she was small enough that Lucy had to look down whilst talking to her, but Lucy found that most girls she met were smaller than her, or at least her height. She never picked herself a tall person until now, she used to peg herself as average height. The pair turned into the corner café sitting in the window, preferring the sunlight that shone down into the café giving it a dim lighting making it seem vintage. Lucy finally got a smile out of Jiya when she told her she'd buy the food. "Now, what would you like? I think I'll choose the apple crumble, something simple."

Jiya's eyes scanned the menu, the idea of food seemed to take both their minds off of the danger their boys were in, "I think I'll just go for a banana split, I haven't had one of those since I was twelve." Jiya laughed, Lucy smiled too, remembering the last time she had one, she was sure it was around fifteen sat in a restaurant with her mum and her old best friend Freya Hickens.

"Me neither, good choice." Lucy giggled, looking up as the waitress stood at the table, smiling down at the two, notepad and pen in hand, waiting for their order. "Apple crumble, Banana split, two brownies and two coffees to go please."

"To go?" Jiya questioned, her eyebrow raised.

"You didn't think those brownies were for us, did you?" Lucy smiled, letting out a light laugh, Jiya was still perplexed. "We're going to go back to Mason Industries and waiting for the boys whilst enjoying our desserts and coffees, once the men get back they can have their brownies as a thank you for surviving."

"Ah, good plan. So we don't give them any affection as a reward for surviving?" Jiya said with a smirk, knowing Rufus liked it when he greeted him with a kiss, Lucy shrugged.

"Depends if they've screwed up history," Lucy laughed, Jiya joined in laughing happily, she liked hanging out with Lucy. They only got to see each other quickly when Lucy came in for work and other times like this where Lucy had to stay behind. They left the café chattering about their family and recent events, casual conversation as Jiya ate her ice cream and Lucy held her bag of treats, she wished she could eat her dessert now but she knew it was impossible to eat whilst walking; so she had to wait. It didn't take to long to reach the industries, everyone was doing exactly what they were doing when the women had left.

"Whoa, this makes my job look boring, everyones just...typing." Jiya almost said in disgust, noticing this is what the others must see when they come in for work and she had to admit it looked pretty boring. There was barely chatter in the room, Christopher was nowhere to be seen, Mason was sat up in his office, the Lifeboat was still gone. "I'd best get back to work, Mason can be mean when he wants to be...hey, thank you for today...it took my mind off of the trip for a little while. Remember, don't eat the brownies." Jiya chuckled, taking a sip of her coffee and heading towards her desk which looked as though it had been waiting for her.

Lucy let out a breath of air and headed over to an empty table near the other side of the room and pulled out her apple crumble, grabbing a spoon from the small kitchen that had been installed in the back of the building. She happily tucked in, luckily it wasn't cold yet, she hated having cold food, it tasted like someone had taken all the flavour from it.

She was on her final mouthful when there was a blast of wind throughout the room, so powerful it almost pushed her plate off the table, thankfully she caught it in time. She placed the spoon down on the dish and took her focus to the Lifeboat that had just arrived, the hatch had just opened, she let out a breath of relief as Rufus stepped out, almost falling but he caught his balance and managed himself down the steps, his arm had a large gash in it, making Lucy a little concerned but Rufus still seemed to take the force of Jiya heading over, not to fast this time, seeing wound and taking his hand and walking to emergency with him. Lucy pulled her eyes away from the couple, she watched the Lifeboat, without noticing she'd moved much closer, she hadn't even realised she'd been walking. No one else had emerged from the Lifeboat yet and her heart was pounding in her chest,  she was terrified it would break out of her ribs.

She could feel tears on the brim of her eyes, she was thinking the worst as she got closer and still she could see no one leaving the Lifeboat. But familiar mousey brown hair appeared and once he lifted his head she could once again see those ocean blue eyes, he looked exhausted and he had a black eye. But he was there. "Wyatt..." She let out as a whisper, she felt a tear fall down her cheek, she hadn't realised how worried she'd been. She been staying calm for Jiya all day, but seeing him alright made her heart leap for joy. Wyatt stepped onto the floor, he still hadn't noticed the girl gradually picking up speed and heading towards him at top speed. But he looked up in just enough time to catch her as she threw herself around him. "Wyatt. Your okay."

"Didn't think otherwise, did you?" He smirked into her shoulder as she remained clinging to him. "Just a little fight with Flynn, but me and Rufus got to him before he stopped the assassin, who apparently was with Rittenhouse, who knew that they'd hired assassins, huh?"

Lucy laughed softly into his shoulder then pulled away slightly, but his arms still remained around her, she gave him a little sad smile, one you'd see on a puppy that made Wyatt's heart melt. "So you didn't need me?" She said it with such a vulnerable tone that Wyatt's eyes softened in contact with hers and he leant forward, a hand cupping her cheek and he kissed her, it was quick but passionate, he rested his forehead on hers and gave her that smirk.

"I'll always need you, Babydoll." Wyatt told her, making her blush, feeling like she should giggle like a little girl. She glanced up at him, his eyes seemed brighter now than ever, she made the move this time, pressing her lips to his, her arms wrapping back around his neck, never wanting to let go.
