Aubrey.

"Eleanor!" I called out, as she was in my hold. There was a high chance that I could my tone was deafening and we got many stares from those around us, but it was the least of our concern.

There was one thing that ran through my mind right now — pinch me. It wasn't a dream, but it was my reality; and it was incredibly hard to believe.

"Aubrey! It's been so long, look at you! You're absolutely stunning!" Her own voice was just as loud as mine, but sounded softer, because of her English accent.

"Look who's talking!" I laughed, noticing the true beauty my best friend was. "You're gorgeous!"

"What on earth are you talking about? You're talking as if we've never FaceTime'd or seen each other before." She chuckled and I refused to believe that I was the prettier one between the two of us.

"However thank you my dear; but I didn't know you were so tall. I feel so short compared to you." I let out, stunned by the height she had.

"Oh hush, I'm not that tall. At least, I don't think so." A laugh escaped her coral tainted lips. "So, are we just going to stand here? Let's go! We've got many things to do!"

"Goodness, I'm so excited. It's been far too long and it honestly still feels like a dream." The enthusiasm I showed was clear as a sunny day — which was exactly how the weather was.

"Someone brought the nice weather with them. It's been cold and rainy for weeks." She spoke in a chipper tone. "I was so happy when you told me that your flight arrived at this time of day. Now we can spend the entire day together!"

"My sweet, beautiful friend. Are you saying that you're going to spend just one day with me?" I teased.

"Stop being silly, of course not. I freed up my schedule so that we'd have most of our time together. Work is unfortunately something that I couldn't get off entirely, but at least school's done with!" El clapped her hands and I laughed. "So I was thinking that we could spend the day doing a walking tour around most of the tourist sights. Tomorrow, we can go out to dinner in the evening, so you can finally meet Louis. Then we'll just play along with how the rest of the days go by."

"He's going to be a bit mad with me." I grinned.

"And why's that?"

"Because I'm going to keep his girlfriend pretty occupied for many days. I can't wait to meet him though. You've told me so much about him." I smiled, then scrunched my nose. "As for now, let's stop at the hotel I booked at, so I can drop my things off, and freshen up. I probably look like a wreck from that endless flight."

She shook her head, verbally debating against my words. Whilst doing so, she attempted an American accent, which didn't plan out well.

"Are you mocking my Canadian accent with an American one? Un-bloody-believeable!" I spoke, failing at my own turn. We both couldn't help but giggle at our own actions. We were squealing and laughing like two little girls drooling over a celebrity crush.

"Is there really a difference between a Canadian and an American accent?" She wondered.

"Absolutely. It also varies from the west to the east. Mine's a western accent." I informed and her brown eyes widened at my reply.

"Wow, interesting." Her slight fascination was slight, as she then showed a grin. "You're a bloody Englishwoman at heart and soul, get your roots back." I agreed with a short chuckle, as I watched El walk towards the street to catch a cab.
