I hope you all had a Happy New Year!

This will be a VERY long chapter - my longest yet, because I couldn't find any way to shorten it. I really hope you enjoy it!

And I apologise for the late update - I explained it all in post I did on my account, so take a reads! Because of how swamped I am, the weekly upcoming Saturday chapter (62) will be posted the following week. I hope you forgive me!

^Also I felt like I had to do a Harry edit for the chapter header...but that isn't how Aubrey looks, so keep your imaginations running...hehe.

Songs for the chapter:

Just The Two Of Us - Bill Withers
La Vie En Rose - Louis Armstrong

Aubrey's POV.

The moment I spent with him was like no other time we'd ever spent together. It felt magical and almost fairytale like, but it was the purest of realities. Our reality. Ours and only ours. After several minutes of dancing quietly in each others arms, being in the bliss of his comforting embrace, I felt the need to say something.

"Harry?" I softly spoke.

"Yeah, Love?" He whispered softly through the strands of my hair. It was slightly muffled out from the close proximity of our bodies.

"As much as I'm loving being here right now, I'm freezing. Can we go inside?" I was already shivering, but I tried to hold my cold senses back as much as I could. In the beginning, it was his warm embrace that kept me comfortable; but now, the bitter temperatures had started to get to both of us.

"Why didn't you tell me sooner? Go inside. Let me just get all of this stuff, it'll just be a minute." I nodded and acted upon what he said. I wished I could stay and help him, but I was basically an ice cube. My legs were numb and my teeth were chattering. I quickly made my way back into the building and watched from my spot as he gathered everything together.

..

Once Harry cleaned up everything outside, I helped him take the things to his car, then we decided to go to the party with the rest of our friends. The two of us could have easily ditched them and went back home, but a public outing like this with all of our close mates was long overdue. We said to ourselves, what better way than to spend it on, what is now, New Years Day.

Just as the elevator opened up to the opulent flat, Harry and I interlaced our fingers together, and made our way inside. Our heads turned multiple ways as we tried to spot our friends. Suddenly I could hear Louis' loud laugh that echoed through the space. The sounds around us were already in high volume, but there was something about Louis' voice that could easily stood out because of the distinct tone it carried. We looked towards his voice and walked in that direction. As our views locked on one another, Harry raised his other hand and the girls started to squeal, jumping up and down.

"Ahh!" Natalie ran towards us, pulling Harry and I's arms apart, to hug me alone. I knew it wasn't personal towards Harry, but the strange qualities in Natalie's personality just simply make her, well, her. "Congratulations Doll!"

"Wait, you all knew?" I questioned as her arms lowered from her prior tight embrace.

"Of course!" She happily said. My head turned to look at Harry, who shrugged with a chuckle. I knew that he didn't say anything, but everyone else's laughs assured the opposite.

"No, Harry didn't say anything. It was just Louis and Liam, but we forced them into telling us. We had some sort of feeling that something might happen tonight though." Eleanor laughed.
