Aubrey's POV*

Our ride back to wherever it was we were going, was nice and calming. Harry suggested that I take a little nap and I didn't question why. I was truly tired. Everything that happened so far today, was incredible. I couldn't have asked for a better birthday or just a better day. Spectacular, is the best way to describe it. I took a snooze and held onto Harry's hand the entire time. I fell asleep to him caressing my fingers. He had the radio on a low volume and I think I heard a Beatles song playing, I couldn't recall which one it was.

Harry's voice was soft as he woke me up. I looked around and found us parked in front of our home. My head moved towards his and all he had was a smile on his face. He bobbed his head in the direction of the house. We got out of the car and went inside.

I expected to see a surprise party or something crazy inside, but the further I walked through the hallway, I was shocked. Nothing had changed. Everything was exactly the same way as we left it.

"So listen, I'm going to take a quick shower. Want to make some coffee?"

"Uhm, Harry? I don't really know what to say, but is this it now?"

"Yeah."

"Okay. Well, I'll get a pot going." He nodded, headed towards the bedroom, and shut the door.

That was odd. I mean, I shouldn't be disappointed — but I slightly am. Harry did say that the day wasn't over, so how is this it? I don't know. I guess I really need a cup of coffee now. I heard the shower run in the bedroom and felt like taking a shower of my own after.

I went and stood in the living room, by the window sill — my home thinking spot. I thought again about my entire day and how perfect it was, which lightened my mood slightly. The scent of coffee filled the room, it was quicker than I thought. Either that or I'd been standing here for a long time. There was no sound coming from the bedroom anymore. I guess my own question was solved.

I poured a cup of coffee for Harry and I, taking a sip from my own, I carried them both over to the bedroom door.

"Harry, did you want your coffee in the kitchen or the living room?" I called out from behind the door, but didn't hear his response. I set mine down in the living room and went back over to the bedroom, knocking a few times, but he wasn't answering back. I slowly opened the door and called him again, but he didn't reply. I walked inside and knocked on the bathroom door, again nothing. I looked around and saw a note on the bed.

Meet me at 8.
A car will pick you up at 7:30.
Please wear the dress that was picked out for you.
I love you. H x

P.S. Pack an overnight bag, just for one night.

"What on earth Harry? When did you even leave?" I muttered to myself and shook my head. I didn't realize that I was smiling so hard until my cheeks started to hurt. I walked back outside to get my cup and so I could drink it while I got ready.

I noticed that there was something new in the entertainment center. A turntable. Another note was set on top of the cover.

So you don't have to listen to music through crappy phone speakers.
All the love, always. H x

My cheeks were strained again from happiness.

"When did you do all of this? I was in the room for less than a minute." I place the note on the side and noticed that there was a vinyl already inside. I opened the cover, lifted the tonearm on the record, and music started to play. I recognised the song immediately.
