New Years Kiss

A/N: Originally written for New Year's Celebration, but I forgot about this one. This is the shortest oneshot I did. Sorry!

The first thing that a girl could think about this New Year's event is a kiss. Yet, to a certain blonde idol it never crossed her mind, even if she's in a relationship already.

Kourin never thought about that, not until Rekka asked her who she'll be kissing. And due to her embarrassment, Kourin told Rekka it would be a certain blue haired cardfighter.

Now here she is, sitting next to Aichi as they went to the balcony of Aichi's house. Aichi had invited her to celebrate the New Year with the Sendou family, in which she agreed.

Aichi and Kourin are in their 4th year of their relationship, no one knows when will these two get married, and Aichi still hasn't proposed to her. Kourin is okay with it, as they already made a promise to get married on the right time.

"Are you enjoying your time here, Kourin?" Aichi asked as he embraced her from behind, Kourin smiled and nodded, adjusting to Aichi's embrace. Time has passed and Aichi had grown taller than her, and she could see how Aichi got mature.

"Aichi, can I ask you something?" Kourin started, earning the blunette's attention.

"Yes?"

"Will… will you kiss me this New Year's?" She asked, although she felt so embarrassed she still decided to ask.

Aichi started to giggle and he embraced the idol tightly, he rested his chin on the top of her head. "Of course I will," He replied.

Kourin sighed in relief and she turned around to face Aichi, she could never imagine herself having to tiptoe just to wrap her arms around Aichi's neck and give a peck to his lips, but it happened anyway. How did this once a midget kid become tall? She didn't matter now, as long as it's Aichi, it will be fine for her.

As Kourin gave a small kiss, Aichi leaned to deepen their kiss. They continued until they hear the fireworks going off. This made Kourin startled and Aichi laughed, Kourin started to laugh too and they embraced each other.

"Happy New Year, Kourin." Aichi said.

"Happy New Year, Aichi." Kourin replied.

They let go to watch the fireworks display until it ended.
