"Dear," he woke up to the sound of his wife calling him. He looked at her and smiled.

"What is it?" Aichi sat and yawned, he rubbed his eyes and looked back at his wife once again. "Good morning."

"Good morning, Aichi. Breakfast is ready, the kids are waiting downstairs."

"Okay," Aichi nodded and watched his dear angel walked out of the room. He smiled to himself, he's really lucky to be with her. He thought.

Aichi went to change his clothes and he went down, he noticed that there are Christmas decorations around the house and he smiled. He's glad that he got to prepare the decorations for the upcoming holiday.

"Good morning, everyone!" Aichi says as he saw his family.

"Daddy!" A girl with long blue hair and green eyes walked up to Aichi. The girl has a chubby cheeks and her smile is wide as she got to be carried by her father.

"Good morning, Ai-chan." Aichi greeted and plays with Ai, his 4 years old daughter.

Then, a young boy with messy short blonde hair and blue eyes appeared and looked at Aichi with a smile. "Good morning, dad!"

The 7 years old boy sat at the chair and Aichi followed him as he brought Ai down. He and Ai sat at the chair.

"Good morning, Kouichi-kun." Aichi greeted at his son.

"Daddy, daddy!" Ai tugged on Aichi's shirt and Aichi looked at the young girl.

"Yes?" Aichi gave a smile.

"I want to sit on daddy!" Ai told her father and without Aichi's answer, Ai had already sat on his lap.

Aichi sweat dropped and had a small chuckle, he ruffled his daughter's hair.

"Dad, yesterday I played with Ayame and I won against her! It really is fun playing Vanguard!" Kouichi said energetically.

"Really? That's great, Kouichi-kun!" Aichi replied and smiled at him.

Ayame is Kai and Misaki's daughter, and is Kouichi's best friend. They have been together since they both went to the same kindergarten.

"It seems like my cute family is getting along today, huh." Aichi's wife, Kourin appeared with a large plate of their breakfast and puts the plate on the table.

"Well of course, it's been rare for us to spend time together. You know how laboratory work is busy that I'm not able to come home for some days." Aichi stated.

Kourin beside Kouichi and she looked back at Aichi, "But I'm happy you came home today, Aichi."

"Yeah, I really want to spend more time with you and our kids." Aichi said with a silly grin.

Kourin smiled back and then she took the utensils.

"Thanks for the food!"

Aichi was lying on the sofa and is having a little nap when he felt a hand on his forehead and he woke up, then he saw Kourin. He smiled.

"You keep waking me up, you know." Aichi told her.

Kourin then giggled and sat on the floor, "The kids missed you a lot, dear."

"I did too, I feel like I'm not that much of a father for them. I'm supposed to be with them yet I'm far from them." Aichi replied sadly yet he still kept a smile. Kourin knows about Aichi's emotional side and she had to stop Aichi before he cries.
