Father's Day?

A/N: I know father's day already happened but I just found this prompt and I'm gonna try to do it with AiKou. Hehe~ enjoy!

also I wrote this on 12am to 1am. God, I need sleep, I still have school.

It was morning when Aichi woke up and he was really tired from yesterday's work. He looked at his side and didn't see his wife beside him. Aichi panicked a bit, but when he looked at the clock, he sighed in relief.

It was already 9 am and Aichi knew that Kourin is already awake. He didn't want to go down though, but the smell of the breakfast from the kitchen made him change his mind.

He quickly got up from the bed and went downstairs, there he found Kourin setting up the plates for both of them. Aichi gave a smile as he went and gave a morning kiss to her.

"Good morning, Kourin-san." He said.

"Good morning, Aichi." Kourin replied.

As they went to eat their breakfast, Aichi couldn't help but to notice how happy Kourin is. He didn't know if she's like this ever since yesterday, since he was at work from early morning until night time.

After breakfast, the married couple decided to watch some news on the TV. They saw how their friend Toshiki Kai had won another tournament and they felt happy.

"Kai-kun is really doing well," Aichi commented.

Kourin gave a nod, "Yeah, with his overlords and all..."

Aichi could only chuckle and then they continued to watch. The TV notified that this day is Father's Day.

"Ah, Aichi. It's Father's Day." Kourin smiled at him.

"Yes, and what about it, Kourin-san?" Aichi replied in confusion.

Kourin gave a light giggle and she gave a box to the blunette, causing Aichi to be more confused.

"Happy Father's Day, Aichi!" She said happily.

"Kourin-san, I'm not a father yet." Aichi laughed and then took the box. Kourin just laughed along with him.

"Just open it, honey." Kourin told Aichi and he nodded.

Aichi opened the box and his eyes widened as he saw the content: it was a pregnancy test with a positive on it. He looked back at Kourin who was smiling at him.

"K-Kourin-san, s-since when..." He asked, stuttering.

"I just knew yesterday, and I wanted to surprise you." Kourin replied, "You're going to be a father now, Aichi."

Aichi blinked for a few times before realizing it; he really is going to be a father. He's going to have a family with the woman that he truly loves, and he couldn't help but to feel happy.

"Kourin-san!" Aichi hugged her suddenly, causing Kourin to be surprised. "I'm so glad! Thank you!"

"I'm glad too, Aichi." Kourin hugged him back, "We're going to be parents from now on."

"Yes, we are." Aichi agreed, "I can't wait!"

As they both pulled from the embrace, the two looked at each other in joy.

They felt so happy and they can't help being both excited and nervous to experience a new phase in their lives, and it is to become parents and raise their own happy family.
