There were no lights that night, and only the moon was giving the brightness.

He looked at the tree near the lake, it was big. It was his second time coming there, the first time was when his school is on a trip.

"It has been a while isn't it?" He mumbled as he smiled, looking at the tree's leaves.

He slowly walked towards the tree and touched the bark, "You touched this before, didn't you? You were trying to win me."

He then looked at his back and saw a tree trunk. He remembered the cardfight he had with her.

'Don't look at me with those eyes!'

'Are you alright, Kourin-san? M-maybe you're still feeling sick.'

'Don't come here!'

His eyes twitched as he remembered that, his hands turned to fists and trembled.

Aichi gave a sigh and went near the trunk, he sat there and took a few breaths before closing his eyes.

He looked around when he opens his eyes again, the wind blows and Aichi saw the waves on the lake.

"I wanted to show you the depth of this dream. The one where I see you and fall finally." He sang and gave a small smile, he continued humming the song.

It was until tears fell on his cheeks, Aichi had to wipe his tears quickly. He chuckled.

"This is weird... I just remembered you and... I'm suddenly crying." He said and looked back at the tree. "You'll come to me, right?"

Aichi smiles as he imagines her standing in front of the tree and smiling back at him.

"Kourin-san, what do you think would be better? Me waiting for us to be together again or... I'll just come with you to meet you as soon as possible?"

The image of Kourin had shook her head as if answering Aichi's question. She approached him and touched his face with her hands and smiled.

Aichi smiled back.

Kourin disappeared.

Aichi looked down and clasps his hands.

"Maybe someday I'll see you again."

Aichi stood from his seat and walked away.

-

Aichi has a bouquet of roses, he was walking on the grassy ground.

He saw her and he smiled, he knelt down and puts the bouquet down.

"Someday, Kourin-san..."

He stared at the carved writing on the marble stone that reads "Kourin Tatsunagi"

"Someday I'll meet you and I swear I won't be too late."

He sat beside the marble and he stared at the sunset.

"I love you so much, Kourin-san."

Tears fall from his eyes.

He remembered her again.

He broke down and cried.

He just can't wait.
