Roses pov
It's been almost three months since we moved into here. And the shop has been a major success. Jack must of sold over 300 portraits and drawings by now. We have new customers come in everyday to simply buy a sketch or get a portrait.
Most days I would go down stairs and help Jack out in the shop as his assistant, receptionist, colleague, and pregnant wife. I love talking to new people and new faces. They bring off an energy that I love. And that I found and drew me to Jack. They each are different in many ways and the ways they reacted to Jacks work, and touching my pregnant stomach to feel the babies. I loved every moment of it. But then times have to change.
I am almost due soon, a week actually. But the doctor says that I can go any day now. Twins can come on time, late or early. That's why Jack wants me to go back to Mary and Joseph house where they can take care and keep an close eye on me.
"Rose!", Jack called out for me, "Rose come on!", he called out from downstairs from the doorway to our car port where our car was. I was finishing up packing everything I needed for the twins. As well as say goodbye to this place. Their was a chance that I could die, or one or both of the babies dying, or us all dying as well. Pregnancy could be a complicated thing. But giving birth was the most complicated. No one knows what way it could go. Or how to deliver a baby safely into the world. But I trust Dr Brown that he will deliver the twins safely with my life and their lives intact, "COME ON ROSE LETS GO!", I heard Jack yelled shutting the trunk of the car. I then waddled out.
"Bye house", I blew a kiss and shut off the lights and walked down the stairs slowly. Jack was leaning on the frame of the door waiting for me. He then helped and escorted me to the car door until I was comfortable and safe. He then sat down in the drivers seat and we took off.
*At Mary and Joseph house*
"Welcome back!", Mary said excitingly and Joseph formally. They both ran and gave hugs to us.
"Oh god look at you Rose. You have grown splendidly", Mary commented to me, "right come, come inside", Jack helped a bit up the stairs while Mary blabbed on about something. "And oh..", she said as me and Jack finally entered through the door not hearing a word she said. "Never mind. Your room is the same as it always has been. We've put some stuff and cribs in for when the babies come", me and Jack walked into our room and just looked around. Two identical matching cribs were less then metre away from my side of the bed (left side). It was perfect and were set out. We were beyond prepared for the twins.
We then had dinner and went to bed. Jack had another big day of work tomorrow. So he has to get up early and leave me here. I only hope he comes and visits me. And that he is here for when the twins are born.
