Gavin and I were back home, he was putting his stuff back into our dresser and closet. I was happy he was home, but at the moment, I was furious.

"He fucking told me I didn't deserve it!" I groaned, watching my boyfriend. I was sitting in the middle of our bed, with Monty passed out in my lap.

"That makes no sense." Gavin looked at me. I pouted, and pet between Monty's ear.

"I know! He says I only got it because I was Monty's favorite, and I'm Geoff's sister. Like, yeah, it was unexpected but I don't think it was because I was Monty's favorite. I probably wasn't even his favorite." I grumbled.

"Oh, Love! Monty adored you. He was always so fucking proud of you, I wouldn't be surprised if you were his favorite. I mean, you're my favorite person, too." Gavin chuckled, kissing the top of my head before shoving his suitcase in the closet. I rolled my eyes and watched as he walked over, to sit next to me.

"Okay, but I didn't get that promotion just CAUSE I'm Geoff's sister. My work is just as comparable to every one else who works on RWBY, I don't see how I'm more special. It's fucking ridiculous, Gavin!" I whined, looking at Gavin. His hair was it's normal tousled self, his beard was a big longer than when I had left. He sat beside me, and rested a hand on my thigh. I tried to fight a smile, but I couldn't help it. Gavin poked my cheek and chuckled, when I smiled.

"Ha." He smiled, and I shook my head.

"I'm trying to be mad." I giggled, looking at him.

"Being mad is dumb. Don't dwell on Miles being a dick. He just doesn't understand that everyone in that office deserved it as much as you." Gavin kissed my shoulder. "Just forget about it. You're doing great, Gabs." He smiled and I nodded, smiling back. I looked down at Monty, and back up at Gavin.

"Hey, I love you, and I know I don't say it enough, or often, but I really do love you." I said, grabbing his hand. He chuckled and I raised an eyebrow.

"I know you love me, and I know you're not good with words." He kissed my temple and pulled away.

"I'd hug you but I've got a pup on me." I giggled, pointing to Monty. At that moment, Ellie, Xena and Gideon started barking, waking up Monty. Monty ran off my lap and down to where the dogs were freaking out. "Well, now I can hug you." I giggled, throwing my arms around Gavin's neck. He laughed and hugged me back, pulling me into his lap.

"Hey, I've been meaning to talk to you." Gavin kissed my shoulder, and pulled away to look at me. A knot in my stomach formed and I felt like vomiting.

"What's up?" I asked, trying to play off my nervousness.

"I, uh," He chuckled nervously. "Nevermind. It's not important." He frowned and I nodded. At that moment, Ryan called me and I raised an eyebrow.

"Ryan never calls me, this is weird." I shrugged, answering it. "Hello?"

"Hey Gabi! Laurie and I have to make an emergency trip back to Georgia, and we unfortunately can't take the kids until Laurie's sister can take them."

"Yeah! I don't mind! When will her sister take them?" I asked, resting my head on Gavin's shoulder.

"She'll pick them up within the week. I'll send her your number." He explained, and I nodded, then realized he couldn't see me.

"Okay! Sounds good, you can just drop them off here with all their shit, and I'm sure Olivia and Eli will love our dogs." I giggled, causing Ryan to chuckle.

"Okay, cool! We'll see you in a bit!" Ryan said, hanging up. Gavin raised an eyebrow at me.

"We're gonna watch Eli and Olivia for the week. Laurie and Ryan had an emergency, and had to fly back to Georgia. Laurie's sister is gonna pick them up within the week." I explained, and he nodded, a smile playing at his lips.

"Seeing you with kids makes me so happy." Gavin chuckled, running a hand through his hair. I giggled and kissed his nose.

"I'm gonna go make their beds." I said, getting off of him and the bed. He took the opportunity and slapped my ass. I yelped and turned around quickly to give him a dirty look.

"I didn't do that!" He scoffed, and I rolled my eyes.

"Then who did it? Smee?" I glared at him.

"That bastard!" Gavin groaned.

"Oh my god, you're a jackass." I rolled my eyes again, walking off towards the guest bedrooms. I made sure the rooms were kid friendly and the doorbell rang. I heard Gavin run down the stairs and open the door. I walked down the stairs and smiled as Eli scrambled into our house after Monty. Laurie handed off Olivia to Gavin, and I grabbed her from him, so Gavin could help Ryan bring in Eli and Olivia's things.

"I'm so sorry about this." Laurie looked at me as Olivia tugged on my hair. I chuckled and shook my head.

"No it's okay. I love kids, even if they do pull my hair." I giggled, and Olivia stopped.

"Thank you so much you guys. I'm sorry again." Ryan chuckled, as Olivia started pulling my hair again.

"No, seriously it's okay!" Gavin smiled, as he pulled Olivia's hands from my hair.

"You guys should get out of here, we've got it all handled." I said, looking from Gavin to Laurie and Ryan.

"Yeah, thank you guys again!" Laurie called out after she left, kissing her kids on the head. Ryan hugged me and walked off the car. I looked over at Gavin after he closed the door. Olivia immediately started fussing, and Eli started screaming. Gavin and I exchanged looks and he ran off towards Eli.

I tried calming Olivia down, when she immediately started screaming and crying.

"God Dammit, Olivia! I'm gonna start crying if you don't stop." I whined. "Do you want a toy or something? Do you need a diaper change? Oh my god, GAVIN MAKE HER STOP!" I groaned and walked over to him as he was tending Eli's scraped knee. "How the hell did his happen within 10 minutes of Ryan and Laurie leaving." I sighed.

"Sorry Gabi." Eli looked up at me and frowned.

"No, don't apologize Eli. Accidents happen, is there anything I can do to help your sister?" I frowned, and he opened up his arms. I passed Olivia over to her brother and she immediately stopped crying.

"I think she just likes boys better." Gavin laughed, as I rolled my eyes.

"Gavin? Can we watch a movie?" The little blonde boy asked, as Gavin looked down at him.

"Of course! What would you like to watch?" He answered, holding out his hands to grab Olivia. Eli handed his sister over to Gavin and he put her on his hip. They walked over to the living room and flopped down on the couch. I pouted as I watched the three. I wondered if Gavin and I ever had kids, maybe they wouldn't like me. I sighed and walked into the living room and sat on the love seat.

Eli climbed off of Gavin's lap and walked over to me.

"Can I sit with you?" He asked, looking up at me. I looked over at him, smiled and nodded. I patted the seat next to me, a smile crept across his face and he climbed up next to me, nuzzling himself next to me as we watched the movie.
