Gavin bought us plane tickets for us to go visit his family for his birthday. His folks were incredibly happy to see me again, and I was so excited to hang out with his family again. They always welcomed me in with open arms. Even that, like 8 months, we were broken up, they still asked about me and George even called me to see how I was doing. I really adored his family.
We were unpacking our stuff into Gavin's room, cause we'd be here for a good two weeks. Well, I would, Gavin had to stay here for a bit longer to film a couple Slow Mo Guys, go to a Con, and to help film a movie. I wasn't all too happy he'd be here for a month, but I guess, that's what happens when your boyfriend runs a slow motion channel on youtube.
"Oh, Love. Is this yours?" Gavin laughed, throwing a lingerie set at me. I caught them and looked at them.
"God damnit Barb!" I grumbled, and shook my head.
"Unfortunately, yes, they're mine. Barbara bought them for me last year and I guess she's found them and put them in your suitcase making you think I tried doing it." I chuckled, tossing the set in my suitcase and putting it under Gavin's bed.
"Weeeelllll," Gavin wiggled his eyebrows and I smacked his chest, playfully.
"Not with your parents and brother here!" I giggled, shaking my head.
"But why not!" He whined, grabbing me by the hips and pulling him towards me.
"Cause, I said so." I blushed slightly, wrapping my arms around his neck.
"It's cause you don't know how to keep quiet, isn't it?" Gavin smirked, looking down at me, causing me to blush. I retracted my arms from his neck, so I could hide my face in my hands. "Nothing to be ashamed of, love!" Gavin laughed, and pulled me closer, planting a small kiss on my forehead. I laid my head on his chest, wrapping my arms around his torso, hugging him. He planted another kiss on the top of my head.
"GUYS!" I heard George stumble up the steps and he knocked on the door.
"Come in!" Gavin called, not letting go of me. George walked in and smiled at us.
"Aw!" George's grin grew wider at the sight of his brother. "Our aunt and uncle are here, with Tommy." He said. I looked up at Gavin.
"Tommy's one of our cousins. He loves George, but for some reason, hates me. But, it's whatever Ryan's kids love me!" He chuckled, starting to loosen his grip on me. George took that as a hint to leave, and ran back downstairs. "My aunt and uncle are quite the judgemental bunch, so don't let what they say to you, bother you. They're not entirely fond of me living in America." He chuckled, letting go of me completely. I unwrapped myself from him and nodded.
"Why would I have anything to do with that?" I asked, fixing the sweatshirt I'd stolen from Gavin.
"Cause you're American. They hated Meg." He chuckled and I frowned, he noticed and shook his head. "I mean, you're better than Meg in every aspect. Sorry for saying that." He rubbed the back of his neck nervously and I shook my head.
"I wanna go meet them." I said, looking at him. I was determined to make them like me. He nodded and we walked down the stairs, and into the living area where George was playing with Tommy. Tommy seemed about 4 years old, and I was already in love with his tousled blonde hair, beautiful blue eyes and toothless grin.
"Hey guys!" Gavin smiled, and waved. "This is Gabi, she's Geoff's sister, if you remember Geoff." He said, slinging an arm around my shoulder. I smiled and looked between the two strangers. His uncle looked identical to his dad, so I guessed that he was his brother. "This is my aunt, Margie, and my uncle, Brian." He pointed to the two. I smiled and waved, as they stared me down. I knew they were judgmental, but their stares were like daggers into my skin. I'm glad I wore a sweatshirt, because I'm sure their stares would be more like kitana's or chainsaws, since I was almost covered in tattoos.
"She's definitely prettier than the last one." His aunt spoke, and turned her head down to Tommy and George.
"Good job, Gavin. You've picked up a good one for once." Brian chuckled, looking at his brother. I smiled softly, and chewed on my lip.
"Hey Tommy!" George said, looking over at me. "Go say hi!" He said, pointing at me. Tommy turned his gaze towards me, and I squatted down so we could be eye level. He gave me a big toothless grin and ran towards me, hugging me.
"Hi! I'm Tommy! I'm four!" His accent was small and cute. He held up 4 fingers when he told me his age.
"Hi! I'm Gabi, and I'm 28." I smiled as I stood up, him on my hip.
"That's a lot of fingers!" Tommy giggled, causing me to giggle as well.
Gavin's POV
I watched as Tommy and Gabi talked to each other. I was only focused on them when I felt George punch me in the arm.
"Ow! What was that for!?" I yelped, rubbing my arm, and furrowing my brow at him. He grabbed my arm and pulled me into the front room.
"What's going on between you two?" George asked, and I raised an eyebrow at him.
"What do you mean?" I asked, genuinely confused.
"I see the way you look at her. You love that girl more than anything." He said, and I nodded.
"Well, yeah, of course I love her. What are you trying to get at?" I asked, running a hand through my hair.
"Are you ever going to pop the question to her?" George chuckled.
"I-I don't know yet. I think it's too early. I never proposed to Meg and we were together for almost 4 years. I just personally, don't think I'm ready. I don't think she is either. She's had a rough past." I shrugged, crossing my arms over my chest. George shook his head and patted my shoulder.
"You do want to have kids with her." George said. It wasn't a question, it was more like a statement, and he wasn't wrong. I did want to have kids with her but, the only problem was her.
"I don't know. I do want to. But she's skeptical because of our age, but Ryan had Eli when he was in his early 30's, I think." I shrugged, looking down at my feet. "Plus, I've tried. She's on birth control." I chuckled, nervously, looking up at my brother.
"Gavin! What's wrong with you!" George laughed, and punched me in the arm. I groaned and rolled my eyes, walking back to the living room. The sight I saw melted my heart. I knew Gabi had been tired from the flight, I just didn't think she would pass out that quickly. She was sat on the couch, with Tommy wrapped around her, sleeping with his head on her chest. They were both fast asleep. My heart ached for Tommy to be our child, but I know having children of our own would definitely be a fight between her and I. A fight I did, but didn't, want to have.
