I stayed home with Olivia and Eli for the week. I was already technically babysitting them, and didn't wanna call a babysitter. Geoff and Joel understood but Miles was up my ass the entire time, acting as if he cared all of a sudden.

Gavin and I were out of milk so I decided to run to the store with the two small Ryan spawns. I buckled the two kids into their car seats and drove to the store. I put Olivia in the cart and Eli wanted to walk, but I offered to put him in the basket. I let the kids both get one pack of any candy they'd like. Eli was helping me check out by sliding the groceries across the self check out scanners.

"You're kids are absolutely the cutest!" I heard a woman's voice sound next to me. I jumped and looked at the young woman standing, now, in front of me. We chuckled and I shook my head.

"Well, thanks. But these aren't my kids. They're my boyfriend and I's coworkers kids." I explained as I gave Eli the cash to pay for the groceries.

"Well, they're absolutely lovely!" She smiled at me, and I nodded. I agreed, completely. Olivia was finally taking a liking to me, and Eli was always trying to sleep with Gavin and I and I knew it was driving him insane. He hated when he had to share the bed with me half the time, let alone 2 people.

"Well, thank you, again." I giggled, and she waved, walking away. I raised an eyebrow and helped Eli load the bags into the cart as Olivia tugged on my fingers. I drove back to my place and Eli helped me put the groceries away as Olivia watched Peppa Pig.

Around 5:30, I started making food. I decided on a vegetarian ravioli dish, & told the kids it was just normal ravioli. I shot Gavin a text after I finished.

To Gavin

Dinner's ready. Come home soon, I miss you like fucking crazy.

From Gavin

Geoff's just a block away! I'll be home in a couple.

I smiled widely and unlocked the door for Gavin. I made the kids a plate and soon the front door opened.

"Oh, love, it smells fucking wonderful in here!" Gavin smiled widely as he walked into the kitchen. I smiled widely up at him, as he kissed my cheek. I called the kids over and they ran into the dining room. I set their plates down in front of them and gave them both napkins. I walked back into the kitchen, and saw Gavin making a plate for himself. I took it from him, setting it down.

"I want to talk to you, but it would be best if it was later. Like when Eli and Olivia leave." I said, looking up at him. He raised an eyebrow and cocked his head. I giggled and hugged him tightly. I rested my head on his chest and listened for his heartbeat momentarily. I looked up at him as he wrapped his arms around me. I poked his stomach, causing him to look down. I puckered my lips and he chuckled, planting a kiss on my lips. "Noooo, make out with me real quick." I tried to fight off a giggle, but Gavin rolled his eyes, causing me to giggle. He cupped my face and kissed me passionately. I kissed back and pulled away, to look at him.

"Can I eat now?" He asked, a small grin sneaking across his face. I winked and he rolled his eyes. "I mean, I'd do that if we didn't have a 2 year old and a 5 year old running around, ours or not." He laughed, and a small knot formed in my stomach. This always happened when Gavin mentioned us having kids. He grabbed his plate & I followed him to our dining room.

"Are you guys ever going to get married?" Eli asked, looking between us two. I chuckled nervously, playing with my fork. Gavin didn't say anything and kept shoving food in his mouth.

"Don't worry about it, E." I said, giving him a small smile. Gavin ruffled his hair and we sat in silence as we ate. I grabbed the kid's plates, along with mine to the kitchen. I put them in the sink and I felt a small tug on my pant leg. I looked down and I saw Eli. He moved his hand, suggesting me to come down to his level. I squatted in front of him.

"What's up lil dude?" I asked, holding the counter to keep me balanced.

"I think if you and Gavin had babies, they'd be really cute. I just hope they don't get his nose, cause you're a lot prettier than Gavin." He smiled at me, playing with his shirt seam. I laughed and stood up, picking him up.

"Let me tell you a secret." I said, pushing some of his blonde hair out of his face. "I hope they get my nose too, even though Gavin's nose is my favorite  thing about him." I giggled, causing Eli to giggle.

"Do you love him?" Eli asked, playing with his fingers.

"Of course I do. I don't know what I'd do without that doofus." I smiled, and moved Eli so he was comfortably on my hip while I put food away. I put the food in the fridge and put the pan in the sink. I walked over to the living room, where Olivia was playing with Gavin's beard. "Hey, you're doing dishes." I smiled over at Gavin and he nodded. Olivia looked at him and at me. I motioned for her to come over, she climbed off Gavin's lap and waddled over to me. I scooped her up,
holding her on my hip as well.

"Talent." A smile played at Gavin's lips and I rolled my eyes.

"I'm not afraid to kick your ass with two kids in my hand Gavin." I laughed, causing Eli and Olivia to laugh too. "Hey, no, don't laugh at that. What I said was bad." I pouted, looking between the two.

"Laurie's sister said she's on her way." Gavin looked up at me, getting up and grabbing his plate. I frowned and nodded. I set the two Ryan spawns down.

"Go gather your things." I put on a smile and followed them up the stairs, into their temporary rooms. I watched them and Gavin soon greeted Laurie's sister. Her name was Karen, I think. The kids saw her and basically launched themselves off the balcony into her arms. I stayed up at the top of the staircase, ready to sleep for a year and a half. I waved bye to the kids and Gavin looked up at me.

"What'd you wanna talk about?" He asked as he walked up the stairs.

"Nothing important." I shrugged, watched him. I walked off to our bedroom, and saw Smee and Monty cuddling.

"Gabi, everything you wanna talk about it important." Gavin frowned, leaning against the door frame. "Please talk to me." He pouted. I shrugged and grabbed the tshirt laying on the bed.

"Just seeing kids makes me sad, and spending the week with Ryan's kids make me want kids of my own, but I don't think I'll be a good mom, or remotely be able to be there for them. I've never handled rejection well, and seeing the way Olivia interacted with you more than me, terrifies me that my kids won't like me, cause they'll have known what had happened before." I shrugged, not looking up at Gavin once. I felt his eyes bore into me.

"What do you mean by they'll know what happened before?" He asked, walking over to me. His voice was concerned but I dare not look at him. I sighed shakily and ran a hand through my hair. Gavin deserved to know everything about me, even the bad things. I looked up at him and tears welled up in my eyes.

"Throughout my last relationship, I was pregnant 4 times." I started, Gavin raised an eyebrow, but the concern in his eyes never left. I was expecting him to yell and scream and get pissed off and disappointed with me when I told him. "But, each time, I had an abortion because I couldn't bring a child into that life." I sighed shakily and chewed on my lip, waiting for Gavin's rage outburst.

"You did what was best. Each time." Gavin finally spoke. I stared at him in disbelief. "You didn't want to bring a kid into your addictive life, you knew you couldn't afford the kids. I'm not mad at you." Gavin reached over to me and grabbed my arm, pulling me into a hug. When I made contact with his chest, I began sobbing. "I'm proud of you for making those decisions. I'm sure they were very hard to make. But, I still love you nonetheless, and I would be more than happy to start a family with you."
