"So they'll be gone for about two weeks?" Alexis askes leaning across the island in my kitchen and nibbling onto a stick of celery.
"yeah-Niall told me he would try to call us every night to check up-but made no soild promises"
she nodds and I slid her a Nutella and Honey sandwhich(this girl's tastebuds are weird). "Ah, did Harry say anything to you?" I nodd at her and bit into my own Honey and peanut butter sandwhich, kicking my feet up onto the isle and leaning back agaisnt my seat.
"what?" my honey and peanut butter sandwhich goes down and I sit back up, gathering my plate and the Bowl of Celery and Carrots that Lexi had polished off up into a little stack.
"he said to tell you that'd he miss you and he'd call you whenever he could-and something about everytime he see's a hot-tub or a black haired girl-that he's thinking of you?" Lexi nodds back at me and her face ignites onto fire.
hmmm,something must have happened between the two out in my pool house.
"so Madison's going to be gone for the weekend also?"
"yeah, she doesn't like being around when Mom and Dad are home-something about Mom always glaring at her and stealing her clothes"
"so you'll be here alone with your mom and dad?"
"yepp" I mummble with a frown plasterd across my lips-I was going to be alone with mom and dad for the whole 3 day weekend(teachers meeting monday). I mean-don't get me wrong or anything I love seeing my dad-he always made sure that whenever he was home that he made time for just me and him to go do something-and he had promised that sometime this weekend we'd go down to his buddy John Tumble's house and try out the Go Cart track that he was building.
but I wasn't exicted about seeing one person-My mother.
"you know if you want me to stay I can-I don't want you to put up with her by yourself" Lexi frowns at me and pushes her sandwich away-untouched.
"No-you need to spend time with your family-i'm a big girl and I can put up with her crap for three day's-then they'll be gone for about another 4 weeks".
"But Oli-"
"No Alexis. i'll be fine-see?*points to my fake smile*, i'm fine and happy-i'm not going to let her take it away from me-no matter what she does".
and right as the words leave my mouth the front door banges in and my fake smile disappears from my face.
"HELLO! Anybody home!?" Mom screams from the living room, and Dad comes in behind her-closing the door softly with his foot-his arm's loaded down with Mom's laugge.
