"We're moving!!!" I screamed at my mom. "Yes Rebecca, your dad got transfered. I'm so sorry, but guess what?" she said. "What? What could be good about leaving all of my friends?" I asked sarcastically. "Your cousin that you've never met lives in LA!" she said as if it was the coolest thing ever. "Yes mom. Seeing my cousin I never met is the best thing ever!" I said storming up to my room.
Okay maybe that was a little harsh but my life is here in New Jersey, not in California. I have my best friends here. Yeah I only have two, but they are the best friends I could ever ask for. How am I gonna tell them I'm moving? I guess now's as good as a time ever. "Hello?" my best friend Sabrina answered. "Hey Sabrina can you come over?" I asked her. "Sure I'll be over in 5 minutes" she said then hung up.
I did the same with my other best friend, Milo. He said the same as Sabrina so I just sat on my bed and waited. I guess this is a good time to kind of tell you a little about myself I guess. Well as you know my name is Rebecca Young. My friends call me Becca though. I have long blonde hair with the typical blue eyes. I'm 15 and in 9th grade. I'm not really popular in school but I'm not really unpopular either.
I have glasses and braces. Yeah nerdy right? Yeah I'm not really the nerdy type but I look like it. "Ding!" The door bell rang knocking me out of my thoughts. I ran downstairs and opened the door revealing
Sabrina and Milo. "Hey guys! I need to tell you something." I said letting them in. They followed me up to my room and Sabrina and I sat on my bed while Milo sat at my computer chair.
"What do you need to tell us?" Milo asked breaking the silence. "Okay. Um I'm moving" I said frowning. "What! You can't move!" he said standing up. What's gotten into him? "I'm really sorry guys. Trust me I don't want to move either." I said. "Omygod! I'm gonna miss you sooo much" Sabrina said hugging me. After hanging out with Milo and Sabrina for about an hour, they had to go home since we have school tomorrow.
I'm only gonna be in this city for three more days. I guess I better make it last.
