I had regretted not putting her on a leash as we headed outside of the main building and toward the direction of the few gyms they had on the property. She was running around like an actual puppy while I was forced to try and keep her from running off to places she wasn't suppose to be. After a while though, I just sat back and enjoyed the chocolate bar that I had grabbed from my bag before we left. With everything I've dealt with today, I needed something sweet.

"How come they don't have as many gyms and fields as our school does?" Miyu asks as she runs up and does a skidding halt in my path. "I only see a few."

"Their not a sports school like Katsushika." I explained simply. "We need different places for different teams so teams don't have to share."

Shinzen may have a fancy school, but one difference is that they had nowhere near as much land as we do. Sometimes, at Katsushika, students never even went inside the actual school portion, they spend most of their time on the playing fields or gyms we have organized around the campus. We did this so everyone had their own space to play, this way the volleyball team wouldn't have to share the same floor with the basketball team, or the soccer team have to share a field with the lacross.

Miyu finally settled down enough to walk calmly by my side, but her head continued to turn it so many directions that I was surprised it wasn't spinning in circles. "Who do you think we'll be playing tomorrow?" She asked excitedly. "It would be cool to play Nekoma again, they were really fun! I was on the court the whole time!"

"I don't think we'll be playing Nekoma for a while." I say defensively, but my back instantly stiffened when I realized how fearful my tone sounded. I played it off, though, by taking another bite of chocolate. "I mean, since we just had a game with them today..."

Her wandering mind seemed to help in my favor. "Well, I just wanna keep beating everyone! Did you see the look on the last teams faces when I spiked the last ball over the net? They weren't even close to getting it!"

"You are impressive." I complimented, making her eyes grow at least ten times wider. "A true Katsushika powerhouse."

The squeal she let out a second after was enough to split my ear drums. "You think I'm a powerhouse!?"

I had to clamp my hand over her mouth to keep her from screaming more as she began bouncing around under my grip. "Watch the volume, Pup. You wanna wake the entire neighborhood?"

A chuckle escaped my lips when she gives a tiny gasp. "Sorry, Alpha-senpai." She whispered, finally piping down again.

We continued walking for a few more minutes, now making it to the center of the gyms where a few random groups were putting in a few extra night practices. All of a sudden, a voice sounded from behind as we passed by a door, making both of us nearly jump out of our shoes. "Looks like the wolves came out of their den for the night!"

As Miyu, on instinct, jumps behind me into my shoulders for protection with a loud squeal, I swirl around to face the entrance of the gym we now stood in front of. There, in the open doorway, was the unmistakable horned owl from the Fukurōdani team, Bokuto.

As he began waving us over, another one of the guys I seen on his team appears over his shoulder, one with somewhat messy black hair and permanently exhausted eyes. "They're just some of the Katsushika girls." He said as he started wrapping his fingers with sports tape. He must have been the setter of the team. "Why must you bother every person that walks past us?"

"I'm just trying to be friendly, Akaashi!" Bokuto retorted before turning back to us, leaning against the frame on his elbow. "Why are you guys out here anyways? I didn't think you were the socializing type."
