Hiya readers! DemonicWolfWithWings here, and I bring you a simple chapter dedicated specifically on extra information that is needed before the story continues. Don't worry, nothing big, this is just going to tell you more about the inner workings of Katsushika and even introduce you to the entire girls volleyball team!
I know there are a lot of characters to juggle, not to mention how tedious some details may be in the story, so I hope this sheds a bit of light before I continue on with the upcoming chapters!
Hope you enjoy reading! If you have any questions after this about the story or one of my characters, feel free to leave them in the comments! ❤️❤️❤️

About the School...
Katsushika Sports Institution
Katsushika is a school of sports that has dedicated its time to creating some of the strongest athletes in Japan that will hopefully go on to represent the country someday, or continue their field in anyway they see fit. Their teams are set up as if they were real professional sports teams, and this is to make sure to give the students the best insight into what the world of sports is really like. They strive to make the experience as real as possible to prepare them for their future, which also means more advanced equipment and tedious training. Students are supposed to come into the school knowing exactly what is expected of them and be prepared to work harder than they have ever worked in their life to become game ready. There is no room for failure at Katsushika, only the best are accepted, and if you come, you come to win.
*Important info*
Katsushika is set up a bit different than most regular high schools. Instead of 3 years, Katsushika has 4, set up just like high schools in America. This is because most of the student's time is dedicated to playing sports, which doesn't leave much room for learning or classes. To make up for the time, Katsushika added one more year. The school years are also cut a bit shorter than regular schools so that sports teams have more time to practice over the summer in perpetration for the fall year when sports seasons start back up again. So technically, it's not that big of a difference, the girls will only graduate a few months later than other students from regular schools due to their shorter semesters.
Technologies Department
They are also know for their other half of the school, which is their technologies and visuals department. This is where students come to learn the art of film, photography, advertisement, journalism, business, communications, and entertainment. This is how a small school in the mountains can be so widely known in Japan. Each team is assigned managers from this department, and part of the manager's jobs are to run blogs, take photographs, and recording every move the teams make to post online for their thousands of watchers.
Sponsorships
Another thing this department is in charge of is sponsors, which play a vital role in keeping Katsushika on top. If teams are good enough, they may not only be able to gain sponsors for the whole school, but even find some that will sponsor their team in particular. If a team starts hitting a rut, or not playing their best, then they run the risk of losing sponsors, which could lead to the team getting cut from Katsushika altogether. That is why it is very important for students to always play their hardest, because when they play, they play with the entire school resting on their shoulders.

Meeting the Katsushika High Girl's Volleyball Team!
(I tried to make these as short as possible but once I started writing, many of the character's backstories just started flowing out, and some went way deeper than I originally planned, so enjoy this detailed look into this beautiful team!)
