The train arrives minutes after the enter the station, and soon they are off to the city of Tokyo with Miyu bouncing around the train car to look at everything that passes, even if hadn't even started moving yet. Finally, after almost getting flung to the ground by the train taking off, she finds a seat next to Kenma, sitting backwards on her knees so she can stare out the window.
Every now and then, Kenma will feel a hand shaking his shoulder, followed by Miyu urging him to look at something out the window. As the ride goes on, her attention is brought elsewhere when she sees Kenma pull his gameboy out of his pocket, and for the rest of the trip, she watches over Kenma's shoulder as he plays, asking questions and almost giving him a stroke when she rests her chin on his shoulder to see better.
Miyu stays that way the entire trip, and at one point, Kenma swears he seen Kuroo with his phone raised, snapping pictures from where him and Akiraa sat across from them on the train, and while Kenma tried to shoot him some death glares, he knows that the only thing Kuroo will care about in the photos is how red his face is.
The time passes quickly on the journey, and before the group knows it, they feel the train slowing to a stop within Tokyo station. Once she realizes where they are, Miyu is quick to jump to her feet, and Kenma almost has no time to pocket his game devise again before the hyper blonde grabs hold of his hand and drags him toward the train doors.
She follows the crowd to a wide staircase leading up out of the underground station, and Kenma's vision is suddenly overcome with the bright lights as they make it into the bustling streets of Tokyo. A loud gasp comes from Miyu when she sees the glittering sight before her, and Kenma feels her hand tighten around his as she begins spinning around in circles, trying to take in everything that she can.
"It's so colorful!" She exclaims, stepping up to the side of the road to look down the long line of towering buildings, all lit up with hundreds of illuminated neon signs advertising hundreds of restaurants and shopping boutiques.
A minute later, Kenma hears a voice from the station staircase. "Miyu!" Akiraa calls, and Kenma looks over his shoulder to see her and Kuroo as they begin to rise up from the station stairs. "Remember to stay close to us! Your sister will kill me if I lose you again."
As they step up into the streets, Miyu swirls around to face them with her arm linked with Kenma's. "Don't worry, I'll be fine!" She assures, pulling Kenma closer to her side. "Besides, we won't get lost. Right Kenma?"
Akiraa's eyes suddenly cut sharply down to him, flashing a strong warning glare that made the hair on his neck stand on edge. Quickly, he gives her an assuring nod, taking a protective step closer to Miyu.
Akiraa doesn't get a chance to say anything else before Miyu let's out an excited squeal, flashing a bright eyed smile as she takes off down the sidewalk, dragging Kenma along with her.
Akiraa is able to stomach her nerves enough to let them go, but her eyebrow raises suspiciously when she catches a glimpse of their hands entertained together as they run off, and she turns to Kuroo with a displeased expression. "Those two sure seem attached at the hip tonight." She mutters to him. "I never took Kenma to be the touchy type."
She is surprised when Kuroo replies with a simple chuckle, completely relaxed as he places a hand on his hip. "Well, what can I say? Miyu must be pretty special to Kenma if he is willing to step out of his comfort zone this much just for her."
This catches Akiraa's attention, and she can't help the scoff that escapes her lips. "You make it sound as if Kenma actually has a crush on..."
Her words are cut short when she hears Kuroo clear his throat, and she looks up to find no hint of kidding behind his eyes.
