Kuroo's POV

"Are you kidding me?" Tora exclaims, pressing his face against the bus window as if he was afraid to miss something. "Look at the size of this entryway! You can't even see the school yet!"

After almost an hour of driving up the side of a mountain, the team began getting eager to see this famous Katsushika High that most people have only read about in sports magazines. It definitely wasn't hard to miss in person, the entrance gate being a bold archway with their school logo right in the center, along with fancy wolf statues on either side.

It had only been two days since the training camp ended, and we were all eager to see what had become of the girls. Honestly, I thought it would be weeks before we had the chance to meet again, but that was before a call came in yesterday for us from the Katsushika principal himself. He explained that the volleyball team had gotten so much publicity from their interaction with Nekoma that he wished to strengthen our relations for a possible partnership in the future. He also hoped that more of our sports teams could compete with theirs, like our basketball and soccer.

From where we were now, the school itself was nowhere to be seen, it was just a long asphalt road in front of us that weaved through a large forest of trees. As we turned and began driving again, I felt the entire bus fall silent as they were greeted with the natural beauty of the mountains. Trees grew wildly on either side of the bus, small rays of sunlight able to poke through the canopy of leaves above to illuminate the area around us. There was even a small river that flowed under a bridge that held up part of the road, with sparkling clear water running along the smooth, moss covered stones. I could only imagine what it must be like to wake up to this everyday.

The deeper we got, the more active the woods seemed to be. After a few minutes, a small flash from between some bushes caught my eyes, and it was only a heartbeat later when a whole gang of bike riders rounded a curve into our view. It looked close to twenty people, all traveling at the same rapid pace as the rode on what looked to be a nature path weaving in and out of the thicket.

Gasps rang from the boys as we took in the appearance of the riders. "They must be from Katsushika!" Inuoka was close to bursting from excitement as he stuck his head out the window.

That really wasn't hard to see. Each bike was painted the bright sapphire blue of the school, not to mention I would have to work three lifetimes to be able to afford the kind of equipment they sported. Everybody was in full awe as we watched them speed by, some of the bikers even raising their hands to wave before disappearing around the bend. One thing I knew about the people at Katsushika, they loved to show off.

Finally, we were able to see a break in the trees, but the view that came after was almost too much to handle all at once. At the front of the school, there was a huge brick structure that had a royal staircase heading up to it's front doors, the Katsushika logo again embedded above the entrance. In front of the building itself was a huge marble fountain, a silver statue of a snarling wolf perched proudly at the top with strings of water dancing around the animal's feet.

I couldn't stop the chuckle in my throat as I looked to Kenma, who sat unmoved in the aisle seat beside me. "You can't say they don't take their mascot seriously." I muttered, the pudding head only looking up for a few seconds before returning to his phone. He may not have found it interesting, but I was excited to finally be able to understand more about the pride of the girls.

The school may have been grand, but this was nothing compared to what stood behind it. Dozens of buildings, unmistakable gyms, were scattered across the land, and even whole sports fields were able to be recognized. You would think a campus packed with so many facilities at once would be a nightmare to see, but Katsushika did an unbelievable job in coordinating everything so it fits together like a puzzle. A place for everything and everything in its place.
