DID ANYONE WATCH SEASON 4 TODAY!!?! AHH IM SO HYPEDD!! I've waited years for s4 and it's finally happening!!! The first ep was great, but my favorite is of course the OVAs, I've been looking forward to them the most. I'll always be a Nekoma girl at heart ❤️

Warmth spreads over their skin as the team steps out into the blazing summer heat, the sun beaming down from its peak in the sky. Nobody dares to say a word before the last person walks outside and the door slams shut behind them, the groups of red and blue now making their way to the stairs, avoiding each other's gazes out of fear at what they will see.

Some take a seat on the scorching steps while others still remain too anxious to even stand still. "We're definitely in trouble now." Ren huffs, flopping down and spreading out over five steps while staring blankly up to the sky. "You won't catch me going near her anytime soon."

"I don't think I've ever seen her this mad before..." Isozaki says, already pacing anxiously in front of them gym.

The rest of the team watches as Akiraa makes her way past the base of the steps, walking onto the stone pathway where the sun's rays shine brightens through the trees around them. They observe curiously as the captain takes a few long breaths, collecting herself enough before swirling around to face Nekoma who is standing off to the side, purposely putting some distance between them and the girls incase someone explodes again

Kuroo's eyes are the first she meets, and while old parks of anger try to relight her fire of rage, arguing feels useless at this point. "Well, you got us out here." She says, crossing her arms firmly over her chest. "Now what do you want?"

Annoyance twitches at his eye as he looks at Akiraa's stubborn gaze. "I wasn't just going to stand there and watch you guys fall apart again. You can be mad at us all you want, but it hurt more than anything watching you argue during your huddle before the game. I wasn't about to watch it again."

Akiraa scoffs. "Teams fight all the time, we were handling things just fine on our own!"

"Not from where we're standing." Kuroo cuts in, the whole Nekoma team now stepping up to his sides to face the girls. "You have been complete wrecks ever since we got here, and this pointless arguing hasn't made any difference. So please, can we just have one normal conversation without shouting at each other?"

Akiraa feels her whole body tense on instinct, fully expecting to get trampled by her team in an uproar of protests, but his request is met with nothing but silence.

Swirling around, Akiraa at least expects to see a snarl or maybe some eye rolls, but the only thing she finds is eyes clouded with exhaustion. Even Shinobu, who never hesitates to jump to the team's defence at the slightest sound of doubt, just gives the captain a small shrug. "I don't think any of us have the energy to shout anyways..." she mumbles, and she is the first to step up to Akiraa's side, face to face with the boys.

The rest of the team eventually follows, coming to stand behind Akiraa while warningly eyeing the Nekoma boys. Despite how worn their bodies appear, even a wolf that has been beaten and battered to the ground will always growl when you get too close, and these girls are no exception.

Tension still floats between the two teams, but Kuroo ignores the tiny sparks of aggression that still linger from the fight and focuses his attention on Akiraa in front of him, daringly looking into her fiery blue eyes. "Why didn't you tell us?"

It's the question they've all been wondering, and he feels himself jump back a bit when he sees how quickly Akiraa's gaze narrows warningly. "You at least owe us that much." He pushes back, crossing his arms stubbornly. "We've been through so much together. We watched you save this team, but when you found out that you still might lose it, you didn't even think to tell us! Just... why?"
