After numerous rounds of blaring music and booming cheers from the crowd, Kenma is able to breathe a sigh of relief when they finally part ways with the arcade and step into the crisp night air of Tokyo. The sound of applause is still able to be heard behind them, Kuroo and Miyu only making it worse as they wave to their adoring fans while walking backwards through the glass doors, and Akiraa has to snatch them away by the collars of their shirts to bring them back down from their clouds of fame.

The street is just as filled with life as it was when they entered the arcade, the intoxicating smells of food sizzling on vendor grills filling the air and cherry blossom petals raining from the rustling trees to the grey asphalt walkway at their feet. Warm conversation and laughter can be overheard throughout every corner of the boulevard, and oddly, Kenma feels at ease as he walks amongst the bustling community of the metropolis.

Akiraa and Kenma stroll casually alongside each other on the sidewalk, taking in the beauty of the city around them, sharing fun glances between each other any time they overheard giggling between their two teammates strutting behind in the back.

"Did you see how many people were watching us!?" Miyu gleams proudly, her cat plushie back in her arms again as she walks backwards in front of Kuroo. "We were like celebrities!"

Kuroo chuckles fondly. "I had nothing to do with it, you're the one the crowd loved. I've played in whole stadiums and I've never heard people cheer louder than when you won that last round."

"Really? You think so?" The pure glee in her voice only makes Kenma's smile grow wider as he listens. "I guess that means I'm a better dancer and a better crowd pleaser than you are, Kuroo."

A snort escapes Kenma's lips while Akiraa has to slam a hand over her mouth to muffle her sudden outburst of laughter.

When Kenma steals a small glance over his shoulder, he sees a familiar wide smirk on Miyu's face, one that closely resembles the Nekoma captain standing in front of her with the same look on his lips. "Wow, victory changed you." Kuroo teases, giving Miyu a friendly punch to the shoulder. "You take more after your Alpha every day... Neko-chan."

He then reaches up and jokingly flicks the white cat ears headband still atop her head, and Miyu is practically glowing as she out a delighted squeal so loud that it turns heads from even the other side of the street.

While Kuroo just bursts out laughing, Kenma hears Akiraa heave a small sigh beside him, coming to a stop while shaking her head. "You two better hurry up before we leave you behind." She threatens, turning in her heels to face them. "The night ain't getting any longer."

"Whatever you say, captain." Kuroo snickers, already beginning to pick up the pace with Miyu following close by his side.

Kenma soon feels her presence next to him a second later, and they continue down the boulevard after Kuroo finally makes it to the group himself and receives the punch to the shoulder Akiraa has been aching to give him since the arcade.

They soon leave the calming comfort of the cherry blossom trees and venture back into the glowing neon streets still bustling with city nightlife. Seeing that they still have a bit more time left before they have to catch the train home, Kuroo takes his spot at the front of the group and begins leading them in an alternate direction around the city, claiming to know a detour that can get them out of the crowds.

After following him for a few blocks, they turn a corner than leads them to a more open street, and Kenma feels his whole body relax as he looks across the road to see a wide expansion of nature stretching before them instead of bright, blinding skyscrapers that have surrounded him for most of the night.
