Even if I could have easily stayed at the Sakura Tunnel forever, laughing and talking as if we were the only people in existence, it finally dawned on us how fast the night was drifting away. After tearing ourselves away from the beauty of the trees, we decide to head back into the bustling city sector for some last minute walking around before catching the train back to the mountains.

I couldn't help but laugh at how many times Kuroo glances down at the watch on his wrist, paying sharp attention to how close we were getting to my curfew so he wouldn't even have to risk facing my dad if I was just a minute late. It took a little bit, but I was finally able to get him to settle down again after reassuring him for the thousandth time that my dad would not kill him. Thankfully, we still had a bit of time to spare, so we just moved slowly back through the city, keeping our eyes open for any last minute activities.

I found it most fun studying the night life of this city, especially since I was right in the center of it all. This is definitely a place I need to bring my team someday, and maybe we can even make it a vacation with Nekoma when their summer starts, which should be in the next month. I could only imagine all of us packed into one of the many sushi bars I seen dotting the streets, just enjoying each other's company while stuffing our faces with food.

As me and Kuroo continued to sightsee, we ended up coming across a whole lane of bustling attractions, such as karaoke and dance clubs all flashing in neon lights that illuminated the whole street around us. It was almost too much for my eyes to take in all at once, but as I began scanning over the different activities, my attention was caught by a brightly flashing sign that read 'arcade' just a small wats in front of us. Kuroo didn't even get a chance to ask what I had seen before I grab onto his hand and drag him forward, weaving around the people in front of us to get to the building.

Hundreds of different games waited to greet me inside, such as a dancing game that already had a large crowd surrounding it while pumping their fists to the blaring pop music. There were also a few racing games lined on the side, where some boys looked as if they were about to break the gas pedal trying to leave each other in the dust, and also a few fighting games were two girls were furiously pressing a button while bright flashes of light exploded on the screen before them. Yep, I definitely needed to bring my team here. They would have so much fun, I'd never be able to get them to leave!

While scanning around for something of my own interest, my eyes were instantly drawn to some flashing lights in the corner, advertising a whole line of claw machines that filled a full wall of the arcade.

I feel Kuroo's presence behind me as I run over to check them out, continuing to keep a firm grip on his hand so I didn't accidentally leave him behind. "I should have known you were one of these people." He teased, gesturing to one of the games as I peered inside at the prizes.

I just gave a light scoff as I reached into my pocket for money. "I can't help it! Me and my brother would spend a whole months allowance on claw machines back home!" I throw a quick glance over my shoulder. "Once, when I was 8, we found one in our town with an actual game boy inside and tried for hours to win it. We had a whole crowd of people gathered around to watch us, but we were never able to grab it. Honestly, though, I think either of us really cared about the game. We just liked the attention."

This earned a laugh from Kuroo while I pulled out some money that I had left in my pocket to put into one of the games. This had a number of stuffed animals inside, my eyes locking directly on a furry brown dog sitting right in the center of the prizes. "Watch the claw machine expert at work." I mutter, giving my knuckles a quick cracking before grabbing hold of the controls and leaning in so close to see that my breath began fogging up the glass.

As he watched, I began maneuvering the claw towards the center of the mountain of toys, a little too confident in my position and hitting the button without a second look. Turns out, I had been in such a rush that I ended up being a hair off. The claw dropped right behind the brown dog and latched onto something behind it that was hidden by the rest of the prizes. As it rose up again, I seen a large ball of black fluff between the thin arms of the claw, and only when it brought it closer did I see that I had grabbed a simple black cat plushie.
