I don't know how long we stayed in that gym practicing with the boys. All I knew is that I never wanted it to end.

As I took a break on the sidelines, getting a quick drink of water before continuing, I watch closely as Miyu practices her spiking along with the rest of the younger players on the court. As Akaashi sends her another set, she jumps up for the attack the same way as usual, but when she hits it over, you could tell she was still struggling with controlling where she wants the ball to go. That would come with more practice, but it was her arm strength that still had a long path of improvement ahead.

When Kuroo was easily able to receive her spike, she lets out a frustrated groan. "This is impossible!" She cries, stomping her foot angrily on the floor. "I'll never be strong enough..."

"Hey, that's no way to talk." Kuroo jumps in, coming up to meet her at the base of the net. "You just gotta keep working out your arms a bit and you'll be there in no time."

"He's right, kid." I comment, setting down my water bottle and stepping up to the two players, setting a hand on Miyu's shoulder as I speak. "You're small, so you're just gonna have to accept that it's going to take some effort to get those arms yours in the right shape."

That was something not many people liked to hear, but I knew my Pup, and just her determination alone would help her make it to the end. If she wanted it that badly, she wouldn't even think about giving up. She proved this by taking a deep breath to calm herself before looking back up again, the fire still burning in her eyes. "Right! I just gotta keep practicing."

Hinata suddenly appeared over the shoulders of me and Kuroo, squeezing in between us to where Miyu was standing. "At least you're good at passing." He compliments, looking down at his own arms. "I always end up getting hit in the face..."

There was a scoff from behind. "You can say that again." Tsukki jeered, covering his mouth to sniffle a laugh.

As those two went at it and Kuroo wandered off with Miyu to give her some more of his tips, I looked around for whatever else there was to practice. My eyes then fall on Lev, who was occupied by the side of the net warming up his underhand serves. We hadn't spoke much since my apology to him earlier, and even if he seemed cool with me, I still just had to make sure.

Picking up a ball that had rolled to my feet, I head over to where he was practicing. "Hey, Lev!" I called, catching his attention as he swirls around to see who had asked for him.

His eyes widened when he seen that it was me. "Nakeyama-sama!" He exclaimed, abandoning his serving and eagerly rushing over to meet halfway.

The energy he emits from just behind within a few feet of him reminds me so much of Miyu in many ways. I thought that may make it easier to talk to him now, but one look into his eyes and the heavy weight settled within my chest again that I needed to relieve. "I wanted to get the chance to talk with you." I tell him, actually having to crane my neck a bit to meet his tall gaze as I make it to him.

Fighting off some of the leftover nerves from before, I give the back of my head a quick scratch as I began to speak. "I just... wanted to thank you for earlier. You had every right to be mad, but you chose not to be. Not many people actually take the time to hear us out like you did."

He seemed almost shocked at my words. "Well of course I'd hear you out, but honestly, I didn't see any reason to be mad in the first place." He admits, giving me a lighthearted smile to confirm that he meant what he said.

He actually seemed a but shy adding this next part. "Its just that... I know that nobody is perfect, even if they may seem like it. I make mistakes all the time, and I know how it feels when people make things harder on you if you mess up on something..."
