"Babe?!" katok agad ni Jake sa bathroom door.

Hindi ka talaga makatakas dito sa taong 'to. Ambilis makatunog. "Yeps Babe. Wait. Am peeing," sagot ko sa kanya.

"You can pee with me there. We're married. Nakita ko na yan. Open this door," pangungulit nyang pirmi.

I flushed my puke. I wiped everything. I gargled mouthwash. I basically destroyed the evidence.

Hmmm... What's wrong with me? I can't be sick. Paano ko maaalagaan si Miracle into if I am sick? Pero baka mahawaan ko naman kasi sya? Papa-check up na nga ako.

"Babe!" katok ulit ni Jake.

"Wait," I said and opened the door. "You're making a scene your Royal Hotness. Umihi lang yung tao eh," sabi ko sa kanya.

He inspected the inside of the bathroom. "You threw up," he stated as a fact. "What happened?" harap nya sa'kin.

Ang hirap mag-sikreto sa taong 'to. "Probably the eggs this morning didn't agree with me," I told him. "Excited na excited siguro ako kay Miracle kaya hindi na-digest ng maayos yung breakfast kanina."

He held my face. "You're pale," puna ni Jake habang hawak ng mga palad nya ang mukha ko, examining me.

"Excuse me," biglang singit ni Erin sa usapan na sumungaw sa bukas na pinto ng bathroom.

"Yes?" tanong ko.

"Ate Aileen," ngiti nya sa'kin. Tiningnan nya rin si Jake.

"Yes?" tanong ko sa kanya.

"Erin?" si Jake.

She had a funny expression. "When," mas lumaki ang ngiti nya, "was your last period?"

Nung... Kelan na nga ba-?

Bago ko pa maisip when, pinanlakihan na 'ko ng mata ni Jake.

Tila gulat na gulat sya. "O, bakit ganyan mukha mo?" tanong ko kay Jake.

"Answer Erin's question Babe!" sigaw ni Jake.

Narinig yata ang sigaw ni Jake ni Chris na syang may buhat kay Miracle kaya nilapitan nya na rin kami at pumasok sa loob ng washroom. "What's happening? Ang ingay, ingay nyo," he told us. "Baka ma-startle 'tong pamangkin ko."

Binulungan ni Erin si Chris. Chris looked at me and smiled.

Binalikan ko si Jake. "Anong nangyayari sa'yo?" tanong ko.

"When was the last time you had your period?" ulit ni Jake sa tanong ni Erin.

"Are you guys telling me I maybe pregnant?" I asked slash stated the obvious thing that they were all thinking, or hoping for. "We've been trying and this couldn't be the time. I don't want to get anyone's hopes up," I said. "Akina nga si Miracle," lapit ko kay Chris to get our daughter.

"Chris, dun muna kayo. Paki muna si Miracle," Jake said instead.

"What?" I reacted.

"Mag-uusap muna tayo," sabi ni Jake sa'kin and closed the bathroom door.

"Babe-"

"Babe," he cut me. "We have a million of those pregnancy test kits. Please try one now?"

"Para ano, ma-disappoint uli?" I said. "And we already have Miracle. We have our miracle."

"Please humor me," he insisted. "Try one. We'll see," matitipid nyang sabi. "Walang mawawala."

"Hay naku," I sighed. "An' daming bisita, tapos magsasayang tayo ng oras sa ganito."
