Benny's POV: I kept running and running, looking behind me a couple of times to see how far away he is from me. I ran into an alley way and then came then came the mail guy on his back. I stopped for like a mil-second and flipped myslef around so I wouldn't run into him but I landed flat on my stomach on a car. I got up fast and ran on top of the car and back down to the floor. I looked back and The Beast jumped the car as well. Damn! I kept running and I can hear him barking and barking. I looked back at him then forward. I ran a bit faster into another alley way. Pushing all the boxes and trash cans onto the floor to try and stop him. That was no use, he just ran himself through everything. Dang, this dog man. I jumped onto a trash can and over a brick wall. I looked back. He just keeps following me. I got to a door and ran in. I heard glass shattering and I looked back. He ran through the window that was on the door.
Ashley's POV: We ran following us. We got to an alley way and we couldn't see them anymore. But we did see a big mess on the floor. We all looked at each other confused. "Did Benny do this?" Ham asked, out of breath. "Yes. He did it to try and stop The Beast. I'm guessing it didn't work. Let's go!" I shouted and we ran through the mess that he caused.
Benny's POV: I slid myself under something, I don't know what it is. But once I looked back, there was a movie playing. The Beast came out from the screen and the audience was screaming. Oh man. I ran out the door and back onto the street. After awhile, I found myself at a neighbor hood picnick. I pushed myself out of people's way. I jumped onto a table and ran. I looked back, and there he was, chasing me. On the table too. The people started yelling at me. Don't they see a huge dog chasing me and they are not doing anything. I ran and I saw two guys holding a huge cake. "Look out! Aaahh" I shouted as I jumped over the cake. Phew I made it. I looked back and I see the guys jumping over the table. The adults shouting at them. Next thing I see, is the cake flying in the air and landing on top of them. I ran and ran to the public pool. The people started shouted. I made my way around them so I wouldn't bump into anyone and hurt them and me. I ran out through the gate and I saw them. "Look out, look out, look out! Sandlot, sandlot, sandlot. Sandlot. Let's go." I shouted when I ran past them. They needed to take the short cut while I took the longer route.
Ashley's POV: We ran and we saw him coming out of the pubplic pool area. He told us to go the sandlot. Oh man. More running! Ugh. "This way! Sandlot. Short cut you guys, let's go!" Squints shouted and we took the short cut to the sandlot. Hey I remember coming this way when the iccident happened with me arguing with Ham. We ran and ran and we finally made it to the sandlot. "Where is he? Does anyone see him?" Ham asked, panting. We were all panting. It was hot and I think we ran more than a mile. We all looked around trying to look for Benny. He wasn't here. I started to get scared. "I don't see him." Squints said. Then we saw him. "There he is!" Scotty shouted.
Benny's POV: I finally reached the sandlot. Looking behind me over and over. He was getting closer. I couldn't do it anymore. I felt tired and hot. I feel like I could pass at in any minute. "Run Benny, run!" Ashley shouted. I felt him grab onto my jersey and he teared it. I pushed myself to run faster. If he gets any closer, he can get me. I ran to the fence and I pushed myself over. I flew over and landed on my back. I heard him break through the fence. I got up fast and ran to the wall of the house. He stopped and looked at me. I looked at the fence, it was falling. "Look out!" I shouted. I covered my face and I heard a crash. After a minute, I looked up and I saw him. Under the fence. I looked at the guys and Ash and they looked shocked. I saw Ashley starting to walk up to the fence. She looked at the dog. He was wincing in pain. "Ashley no!" I shouted at her. She ignored me. "Oh man." I said. I have a headaqe now. Ugh.
Ashley's POV: I walked to the fence and I saw him trapped under the iron fence. He looked hurt, and in pain. We can't leave him there. No matter what he has done, we just can't leave him there. I walked over and got on my knees. "Ashley no!" I heard Benny shouted. I ignored. I looked up at Scotty. He walked over to me and tried to help me lift the fence. "Come on guys! Help us!" Scotty said to them. They just stood there. "Please!" He whined. "Benny! Benny, help us. Please. He's hurt!" Scotty shouted. "Benny please!" I begged him. He sighed and walked over. He threw the ball to Ham and got on his knees. We grunted, lifting up the fence. Finally when it was high enough, he got out. We dropped the fence fast. We sighed relief. I looked at Scotty and then to Benny. He looked at me, smiled and winked. I smiled at me and patted Scotty's back. "Uh-oh." I heard Squints say. Benny and Scotty got up fast. I felt hot breathing on the left side of my face. I slowly turned to look and I saw him. The Beast was up close on my face. I held my breath. He walked closer to me. My heart started pounding. He's gonna kill me.
