2-Mister Y

Another day has come! Maaga akong nagising to cook for my breakfast. Di ko naman maaasahan ang landlady ng apartment na ito. I already checked my things kung ok na. And yeah, i'm now ready to enter that Light Academy.

I went inside the car and enter the keys on the hole, seconds after, the engine started and the wheels began to roll, they were so excited to kiss the floor of the Light Academy.

Minutes have passed, at bumungad sa akin ang malaking gate ng Light Academy. Literally light because of the colors painted on the big gate of this academy. It was white.

Normal lang, may nakakasalubong na mga estudyante,teachers,sanitary workers. I try to observe them pero non-sense. Idol ko talaga si Sherlock sa pagdeduce. Kaya lahat ng binabasa ko about mysteries. I tried deducing the students but there's no any trace of suspicious acts.

Hinanap ko ang aking room and there, marami na rin estudyante mga tahimik,palibhasa first day,kaya walang kakilala.

Isang lalaki ang nakapukaw ng aking pansin. Paano ba namang di mo mapapansin,eh nakatayo sa harapan at may isinusulat na set of numbers sa whiteboard. It seems familiar to me. The numbers.

Umupo na lang ako sa aking upuan, katabi ang isang bakanteng upuan sa kaliwa na katabi ang bintana at isang di-bakanteng upuan na inuupuan ng isang babaeng hanggang balikat ang buhok na blonde.

"Hello" nilakasan ko na ang loob kong magpakilala, nakakabingi na ang katahimikan.

"H-Hi po" really?

"Pfft! Why you are stuttering my dear? I'm Leila,pleased to meet you."

"I am Crystal, it's my p-pleasure" oh?

"Ang cute mo. Friend na tayo ah?" Leila, I don't know na may makapal ka palang mukha. Minsan lang to! Cute naman.

"Sige!!Yehey" Crystal said. I'm starting to like her.

Then, the professor, I think?enter the room as we greet him. I hope his name is not starting with the letter L. Perhaps, pwedeng M naman?

"Good morning class! I am Mr. Marky Mendez, you can call me prof. M or double M. He-he" Whoaaa. I like him.

It's M. Wish granted. Not totally a wish.

We used the time just to introduce ourselves. Seriously? Sana di na lang ako pumasok.

Yung kaninang bakanteng upuan, doon pala nakaupo yung lalaking nagsusulat ng weird set of numbers kanina. Pagkapasok na pagkapasok ni Prof. Double M, binura niya agad yun.

*KRIIIINGGG*

The bell rang. It's now the time for lunchbreak. Kasama ko si Crystal sa school canteen. Bumili lang kami ng spaghetti at juice then we decided to eat it on our room. The school canteen is totally full and crowded.

Katabi ko rin si Mister Y na naka ub-ob sa desk at may salpak na earphone. I don't know his name. I called him that way because he's somewhat a mystery to me. He's like a puzzle to solve. Tahimik. Kanina pasulyap-sulyap ako sa kanya, and he seems so bored on how this academy introduce itself to him. I'll ask his name.

"Yo! Mr.?" I asked.

"Wipe that stain of yours."

"P-Po?" Ang haba naman ng name.

Nagulat ako kasi kumuha siya ng tissue beside my spaghettu tapos pinunas niya sa...Now I get it! The spaghetti sauce ruined my face. I'm embarrassed. First day pa man din.

"S-Sorry" I said.

"It's okay,be careful and gentle eating your spaghetti, and oh? You are asking my name? Find it for yourself lady" srsly?

Di ko alam pangalan niya kasi di naman siya nagpakilala kanina, di nga napansin ni prof. Double M.

I try finding his i.d. and poof!! William pala huh? William Myriad. Not bad!

Tumikhim ako and took a sip from my apple juice. "You are William Myriad. Nice name. I'm Leila, not so pleased to meet you" pinahirapan ba naman akong hanapin ang pangalan niya.

"I'm not asking your name lady."

Argh!! This man! Don't just call me lady, I have my name and it's Leila, Leila!

Inubos ko na lang ang spaghetti ko ng...

"Ahhhhhhh!"

"W-What's that?" I shouted.

Biglang tumakbo si William papunta sa pinanggalingan ng sigaw kanina. Nagulat ako kaya sinundan ko. Baka manaya may gwapong lalaki, di ako aware,malaman ko pang bakla to si William, gwapo pa naman, sungit nga lang.

Nakarating kami sa office ng Student Council. Napahawak ako sa bibig ko ng makita ang duguang babae na prenteng nakaupo sa kanyang swivel chair. Perhaps, is she the secretary!?

Di ko namalayan,kasunod ko rin si Crystal. Gaya ko, nagulat din siya.

"Crystal, pioneer student ka ba dito?" I asked just to confirm if this kind of crimes is really happening here in Light Academy.

"H-Hindi. A-ano t-to?"

I held his hand just to comfort her. She is trembling. I never thought this would happen. I thought this academy is Light!

Lumapit si William sa crime scene pero di siya pinigilan ng police. Bakit? May connection ba siya?

I cannot read lips kaya di ko alam kung anong pinaguusapan nila.

Kakausapin ko na lang si William.
