William POV

As I heard that freaking noise of a lady shouting from the outside, I quickly diverted my gaze to Leila.

"W-What's that?"

I quickly run from the direction where I heard the scream and I'm right, there's another case to solve. I grinned.

There, I saw a lady sitting straight on her swivel chair dead. I saw Mr. Neds, a good police officer and a friend of mine.

"Yes, Mr. Neds, what is the position of the victim in the student council?" I asked, observing the crime scene.

"Secretary ang posisyon,William, nakakagulat nga eh, halos limang buwan na ang lumipas bago nagparamdam ang misteryong tao sa likod nito." Mr. Neds answered.

I have the connection with the police officers of this academy. I do love solving cases. That's why after they saw me solving multiple  cases, they offer me to be their campus detective. I didn't refuse. Why would I?

I asked for the CCTV footage of the said scenario. Then, three primary suspects were presented by the campus police officers.

Elton John, one of the primary suspects. The ex-boyfriend of the victim. He has the motive to kill the secretary but I doubt that that he is the culprit. He offered a cup of tea but the victim refused to take it based on the footage.

Next is, Melody Sunbae, a childhood friend of the victim. She's also the current bestfriend of the victim. She was seen 20 minutes before the crime happened.

Third, the president, Meldrid Sanchez, was seen 30 minutes before the crime.

We could not identify the culprit because after we caught Elton John on the CCTV footage, the footage became blurred, I highly doubt that that is Elton's plan, the secretary is still alive that time and was able to meet the two remaining suspects.

Through process of elimination, I only have two suspects, the bestfriend and the president.

The president was seen 30 minutes before the crime. While the bestfriend was seen 20 minutes. This was just based on the students near the student council office and not from the officers. I bet, the killer paid them to tell those lies.

I observe again the crime scene and there I found a post-it-note posted on the desk telephone on the victim's table. I saw set of numbers written on it. This might lead us to the real culprit.

2-2  3-2  7-3  8-1  3-3  7-2  4-3  3-2  6-2  3-1.

I haven't encountered this kind of a code. This will surely bring me to the climax. Great!

I asked Mr. Neds about the code.

"Saan mo nakita to? William?" He asked.

"It was posted on the tele----"wait!

"Ha?" Mr. Neds asked.

"It was posted on the telephone, look! Mr. Neds the victim is  brilliant huh? The first number in the code is referring to the numbers on the telephone." Yeah!

"O tapos?"

"The second numbers are referring to the set of letters written on a particular numbers."

"Ahhh alam ko na, ang galing mong bata ka! Akala ko supot ka talaga eh!" What the?

"Mr. Neds!" I shouted.

"He-he" he raised his right hand using the peace sign, it's so gay Mr. Neds.

Then, I tried to crack the numbers. I based it on the telephone.

1-empty
2-ABC
3-DEF
4-GHI
5-JKL
6-MNO
7-PRS
8-TUV

Mr. Neds was surprised.

"Galing mo bata!"

Then I tap his shoulder and bid my farewell as he head his way to interrogate the culprit.
