Leila POV

Still, Crystal didn't bother to attend the class for almost a week or two? Hays, namimiss ko na siya.

It's now lunchbreak but I didn't give a minute just to eat at the cafeteria. Himala, at sinipag akong magbasa.

May umupo sa tabi ko, I saw through my peripheral vision that it was William.

"L-Lei."

Still, ignoring him.

"Are you m-mad?"

"No, why would I? Perhaps, a little frustration towards you and your freaking code." I said raising my left beautiful eyebrow.

"A-Ah, I'm sorry then."

Stuttering huh?

"About the case of Leslie, are you done talking with the primary suspects?" I asked, trying not to sustain the topic.

"Not yet, there are one person remaining."

"And that is?"

"Jon."

Jon? Familiar. Hmmm. Ahh!

"I know him!" I shouted.

"Shhh. Lessen your voice. What?"

"I said I know him. I met him."

"So?you were saying that you know him but he didn't know you?"

"Yeah"

"Tell me the exact details about your first encounter with him."

"Remember the time when we are eating together at the school cafeteria?"

He nodded.

"I saw him. Balisa at di mapakali. He was throwing the lemon's skin."

"Lemon, huh?"

"Bakit, William?"

"Mr. Neds handed me the result of the scanned glass pieces."

"Then?"

"It has the trace of lemon juice."

"S-So?"

"Jon is the culprit/ Si Jon ang salarin." Sabay naming sigaw.

"There he is." I pointed out the man eating alone.

Argh!

"Hey, Mr. Jon." Nakangising sabi ni William.

"Y-Yes Why?"

"A-Ah nothing, I just need to confirm something."

"Tch." Pagsusungit nung Jon.

-----

Flashback:

"Lapu-lapu was the first hero while-"

"Excuse me, ma'am" William interrupted the class.

"Yes, detective?" Nakangiting sabi ni Ms. Aragon, our history teacher.

"May I excuse myself and this classmate of mine, Leila Frances?"

H-Huh? Ako? Napaturo ako sa sarili ko.

"A-Ah follow me, let's talk."

"Why? Detective?"

"We are currently having our investigation about the previous crime that we had."

"Oh? I see, then this lady?"

"Ah, she's my co-detective."

"O-oh well, goodluck then, have this excuse letter. Goodluck."

"Thanks miss."

~End of flashback~

Co-detective daw ako? Ibang klase. Well, I admit, I was overwhelmed!

Naglalakad kami ngayon ni William as he lead the way to the principal's office.

Kumatok kami...

"Come in."

William pushed the door knob and rotate it to the right. The aura inside was somehow suffocating.

But still, she managed to be beautiful. Principal Lovely Ferrero

"Yes? How may I help the both of you?"

"We are currently having our investigation about the case of Leslie Agonzales."

"And then?"

"We are to ask the phone numbers of the following students."

"A-Ah Mr. Myriad? Is it too confidencial? Minamaintain namin ang security ng bawat estudyante."

"But this is for their sake ma'am" pagsisingit ko.

"Please hand us their numbers, para matigil na rin ang misteryo dito sa LA, a-ahh Light Academy."

"Fine. Here. Check it."

Now, it's the time to identify the real culprit. Get ready!
