19- Hospital Bed

Leila POV

I am just lying in this bed. Boring na boring na ako. Sobrang sama talaga ng pakiramdam ko. Di naman ako makabangon at makakain kahit na sobrang nagugutom na ako.

Nasaan naba kasi si Losti?

I texted him.

After that, natulog na ako.

Losti POV

Damn! Nakalimutan ko si Leila.

Mabilis kong pinapaharurot ang sasakyan ko.

"Hey, relax! Watch the speed of your car. Damn!" William complained.

"I told you not to get involved in that freaking scene, but still you investigate it!" I shouted at him, still looking straight at the road.

I saw through my peripheral vision na tumungo siya ng bahagya.

"I am sorry!"

"Damn! William, alam ko detective ka, pero isipin mo si Leila dito!" I shouted at Wiliam.

Bahagya akong nagulat dahil sa nakikita kong William ngayon.

"What's with me? Whenever I am with Leila, lagi siyang napapahamak. All I want to do is to take care of her, I-I l-like her." He said while sobbing.

Buong buhay kong pag-aaral sa LA, ngayon ko lang nakitang umiyak ang detective na kilala sa pagiging seryoso.

"I-I am sorry, I didn't mean to shout at you." I said.

"I deserve that." He is still crying while clenching his fist.

Saglit ko siyang sinulyapan only to find out that he was deeply staring at me.

"Dapat ko ba siyang l-layuan?" he asked. Still crying.

I know he cares for Leila. To be honest, I am overwhelmed by knowing that he likes Leila. I can see it in his eyes and even Leila's.

"Don't do that! Are you nuts, William? Leila will be sad." I said.

"Okay, thanks dude."

"No prob, were here. Wipe your tears."

Lumabas na kami ng sasakyan at tumakbo papunta sa apartment ni Leila.

I know her password so I quickly entered it then we enter the door.

Tumakbo kami ni William sa kwarto ni Leila.

"Damn!" William cussed, as his tears started to fall again.

"Leila!" I tried waking her up.

"Ready your car, mataas ang lagnat niya, namumutla siya, dalhin natin siya sa ospital." William said.

I ran as fast as I could while William is carrying Leila.

Sa likod ng kotse sumakay sina William. Inihiga ni William si Leila sa lap niya. This time, William is damn serious. I know nasasaktan siya.

"I am sorry Leila." William uttered.I can see from here that he kissed Leila's forehead.

Hospital...

Leila POV

Naramdaman ko ang sikat ng araw ng dumadampi sa balat ko.

Bahagya kong inimulat ang aking mga mata. I can feel that someone is crying while passionately holding my right hand. Nasaan ako?

I shifted my gaze to right and I saw William crying. Why?

"W-William?"

Itinaas niya ang kanyang ulo at tumingin ng diretso sa aking mga mata. Saglit kaming nagkatitigan.

Niyakap niya ako.

"Thanks God. You are awake."

"Anong nangyari sa akin, nasaan ako?" tanong ko.

Bumitaw siya sa pagkakayakap sa akin ang gently kissed me on my forehead.

"You are fainted when we arrived from your apartment then we brought you here at the hospital. I am sorry." He said while sobbing.

Naguguluhan ako?

I gently wiped his tears. "Shhh, don't cry. I am perfectly fine, okay?.nahimatay lang Hindi namatay." I laughed trying to enlighten the mood.

"Yeah, thanks."

"You should take a rest." I ordered him.

"Yeah, I will."

Bumukas ng pinto at tumambad sa amin ang nag-aalalang si Losti.

Niyakap niya ako kaagad.

"Thanks goodness, you are awake. I am really worried."

Gumanti ako sa yakap niya.

"You should take a rest too, bro."

"Okay, I am going home, William is here to take care of you."

Lumingon ako kay William na nakangiti habang nagbabalat ng apple. Apple!

"Okay, take care."

Bago niya buksan ang pinto at akmang lalabas, nagsalita ako.

"Thank you my two knights. You two are my shield and sword. Thanks." Then my tears began to fall.

Lumapit silang dalawa sa akin at niyakap ako.

"You are my princess Lei." Said William.

"Welcome, my little sister." Said Losti.

"Kinikilig ako sa inyo. HAHAHA. Group hug!" I said.

I am really thankful for having them.
